Is the govt. Increasing FED again to 10%? There's a letter being forwarded on whatsapp from Ministry of Industries which states CKD cars above 1500cc will have an increased duty of 10% from the previous 5%. Is this true?

In the posted video, at 10.32 time stamp, he is pouring in Injection Cleaner. I just went to Liqui Moly and bought it and poured in my Sportage. However, when I later googled, there are so many LM products and I wonder if I poured the right thing in my car. Attaching picture of what is available but I poured in injector cleaner as shown in video....so...did I make a blunder or nopes

I think it should be one bottle every 5000kms. One bottle is normaly good for around 70liters tank. But the effect lasts longer as you fill gas back up before the reserve is hit.

I use the fuel injector cleaner as it comes on a 2 pack and is readily available. Mostly they all do the same thing I think.
The liquimoly video shows that the injector cleaner cleans the injectors as well as the cylinder walls and piston head. The full on fuel system.

They also have fuel system cleaner etc but I think they all do the same thing more or less. I think Chris fix also did a video on it and he used the STP injector cleaner.

Do share your findings as I think Kia manual specifically says not to use mmt fuel but use fuel with detergents. Now we only have detergents in hi octane fuel in Pakistan and our regular has lots of mmt and no detergents.

Most probably will be implemented at 1st of October. However I feel that due to new conditions of 30% downpayment minimum and 3 million max financing being allowed by the govt per customer, the sales of alpha may increase significantly. The alpha can be financed by the bank with 30% down payment (4284000x70%=2998000 finance allowed to customer). The same can't be said about fwd and awd

We are talking about 7.5% net increase in FED here. Mind you, after the budget, the FED on 2000cc was reduced to 2.5% from previous 5%. So what we are talking here is an FWD sportage/tucson will be selling somewhere near or equal to the current price of an AWD after this implementation. And the automotive companies are already shaking their legs for a price increase due to dollar appreciation, that will be in addition.

I hope i am wrong with my calculations.

Yes you are correct. 300,000 impact per car. So alpha may be selling at 4.6m and fwd at 5.1m if it gets implemented.

I dont understand what they are getting by imposing incremental fed on the local cars. What does that even achieve to control current account deficit. Just increases price of old cars and make the life of customers harder.

just thought it will a bit better ground clearance ,not for pure off roading or anything ,but ast year i went to deo sai and skardu and at some points ( although rarely ) it did touch the car from underneath, i thought with a bit better ground clearance, i will have way much options with my AWD.

As we all know kia has suspended the bookings of sportage fwd. what could be the possible reason?
1. is it because of the global chip shortage?
2.is it because they overbooked it?
3. or is there any chance of new model coming in pakistan?
Any experts here? need your words on this.
