Yes, X70 is a promising and best value for money car amongst all the options under this category currently available in market,
But, my experience with Proton this far is as pathetic as it could be along with friends and colleagues who already are waiting for cars since months and yet have no clue.
Firstly for city like Karachi, they have only 2 sales and service centers. Visited there thrice and literally, it was like I am on my own. No welcome, guidance as if nobody was interested in selling. This was first set back.
Secondly, this Al-Haj group itself is a big point of concern... their future investment plan, after sales support and services. Till yet, they are not up to the mark. IMO, FAW V2 had great potential in our market but they failed miserably.
The way they are currently handling deliveries, only those who are waiting can feel the pain - more than a year for delivery and yet with no commitment.
All unlucky for Proton! the group they partnered + the COVID times - else would have easily given tough time to all CUVs brands.
