Probably all forthcoming deliveries will have the new FED of 5% imposed.The dealership had no clear or definite answer.

It's not sluggish for a cross i reckon. The initial torque/pull is very reasonable and is definitely noticeable when you for l floor the car.
The only thing which i don't like are the brakes.

Problems starts when u drive a turbo once and then drive anything else....so more of a problem for Turbo drivers....otherwise its fine

According to that standard all our local cars feel sluggish after driving the civic Turbo.

G true...i was comparing on the price segment. Turbo is addictive.

Understand from news in DAWN today that new FED rates will apply on cars booked on and after 16Jan'22.So unless there is anything to the contrary KIA car/crossover prices should remain static for bookings prior to aforementioned date.

If your vehicle is not invoiced before 16th, you have to pay the new taxes.

yes but they increased the sales tax as well for below 1300cc which is reflected in suzuki cars too

Sorry for being dumb and asking this. I might be missing this but couldn't find anything about this.

Does CKD Sportage AWD/FWD have ABS breaks or no?
And how reliable are its breaks? Any personal experience of emergency breaks? How did it responds?

Specs in KIA website says nothing about it except for Disc breaks.

PKDM Sportage has 4 wheel ABS disc brakes and it has Stability control and Traction control. ABS is a part of stability control. So YES Sportage has it. Alpha has ABS but no stability control.

Meri sportage ka tentative month feb 2022 hai Awd variant hai, main na 7th jan ko full payment kr de thi i think mera car system main ajne chaiyeh sportage walu ki kyumki new fed 16th jan ki bookings pe apply huga aur main na full payment 7th jan ku kr de thi... abh mujhe new fed pay karna purha ga ya nae ? Company abhi kuch nae bata rhy...pls agar app main sa kisi ko is bare main kuch knowledge hai tu zarur share karein thnx

Kia has generally been very accommodating with its customers who made full payments to move their deliveries earlier so as to avoid the tax increase. Both my vehicles were invoiced within 8 days of making the balance payment. I expect and hope that they invoiced your vehicle before 16th Jan. Do let us know when you find out.

I completely agree with what @wahajazhar said.
My Sportage also got invoiced on 8th Jan and fortunately, I didn't have to pay the new FED price, but if your Sportage got invoiced on or after 16th Jan, then you have to pay the extra amount, unfortunately.
I hope that your vehicle got invoiced earlier than 16th Jan, but to be honest, the signs are not good because if your vehicle got invoiced before 16th Jan, then you must have got your vehicle by now.
