The airflow automatically switches to outside instead of inside upon pressing AUTO climate. Is there any fix to keep it on INSIDE?

Its bcaz of ADS auto defogging system. Keep it off.
You need to hold front shield defroster for 3 secs.

Plz note, if u r running ac on auto mode, it will keep switching to outside / inside air.

Wanted to know your thoughts & knowledge on the maximum speed you drove your Sportage (2022) ?

I have recently bought one and am really enjoying it. Mine is AWD and its around 4K driven. The maximum speed I can reach to 188 KM. From 0 to 180 it went really smooth and non-stop, no hiccups, even at 180 KM it felt like the engine is asking for more, but the time when it touched 180, it just stopped accelerating and after giving it around 2 minutes it reaches to 188 KM. The way it touched 180 and after that, it felt like something is blocking it.

I heard in some discussions that there is a maximum speed limit put in place by the manufacturer and its common in every modern car (I will elaborate by modern later). What I heard is usually its 180, For some cars its 220 and for very few its 250. Please note that these does not include sports cars. By modern I meant that one of my friend used to tell me he drove his GL Corolla 1998 to 195 so I suppose there was no computerized system in those cars so no limit enforced.

Please share your thoughts / experience / knowledge on this. If there is such limit enforced (Speed Limiter / Governor) then can this be changed ? if there is no speed limit (other than the engine capacity and power) then why my Sportage stops floating at 180. Actually the way it reached to 180, I was expecting it to stop floating at 200 and the way it just jammed after 180 thats why this question is.

I cannot digest the fact why would you want to do this in the first place. This is a death wish.
I don't know how old are you, but i assume pretty young, cause no guy with a family would do such a thing on a very ordinary vehicle. These vehicles are not designed for this.

100% Agreed. Do not put yourself and others in harms way by driving well over the speed limit (120). It's just not worth it. Please drive responsibly.

Wanted to ask a noob question, there are terms like "nayi gari ko 1000km k baad, painja lagana or napna which essentially means touching 170-180 kms/hr for some time and going on high rpm" has any actual impact? What's the science behind this?

These are just myths of the past, no science or logic behind this, just use your car in a normal way like you do every day, there's no benefit in doing this so-called painja lagana or napna...

Hello All

Observed a weird stuff in my Sportage. Not sure if setting is like this or its some fault in my case.

So, AC blower on feet mode is not throwing any air on driver side. Literally 0 air. All other vents (front passenger and rear) are working fine. Can anybody confirm if this is happening with all or its just me? My next visit to dealership is due in October

Hello. Everytime I get my cars (FWD 2020) tank full, the range meter shows anywhere between 510-540kms however I've seen posts here with the range meter showing 600+KMS on a full tank. Any idea why? Mera Matlab ye nahi k full tank k baad gari 510-540kms chali thi. Mera matlab hai k full karwanay k baad upar range me itne kms dikhata hai.
Car was bought used recently and throughout KIA maintained. Service history included. Recently got it maintained from Kia as well.

Does anyone know why I don't see 600kms+?

My car's mileage is 2k kms and on a full tank, the meter shows a 510-540kms range so I think it's pretty normal.

meter shows the range on last driven Km average, for example if you are in city and dynamic mileage is coming 9 km a full tank will show 495 range (55 X 9), however if you are on highway or motorway and dynamic consumption is 13 km range will increase accordingly (55 X 13 = 715)

As person above said, it’s just a rough estimate from current AVG km/L.

Higher the average it shows (highway) higher the range.

What shall a FWD average with 5 adults on board, boot with few bags and AC on, 120 cruise on motorway

1. depends on your driving amount. - oil change, oil filter, air filter, labour = 7k (every 5k KM)

2. underpowered? NO WAY. 2000cc engine, nice horsepower. even in eco mode its good, sports mode, its awesome. but mileage is NOT good (i get 7 in eco mode in city with AC)

3. Civic = never! Go for Sportage, Tiggo or any other SUV in this price
