Kia warranty is a scam, you need to go there after every 3 months. Everything is expensive there, double the cost. I am glad that i bought a used sportage and now maintaining it myself at a fraction of cost. Since it is as 2020 model, warranty would expire in 2024 march anyway. We have been maintaining corolla and civic by ourselves so why not sportage.

same people who pay 100K for a replacement bumper for land cruiser. Have you priced out a genuine parts brake job for a simple land cruiser.

Now read the booklet and check where it says that lube and filter service is mandatory from Kia showrooms.

Will get to that later during lunch, car is parked too far away. But given that the website says maintenance and repairs are to be performed exclusively by Lucky Motors authorized service centers, does that not cover lube and filter service? They might say official website is as good as a letterhead.

If they claim that, then they are in trouble. Getting service performed and general lube and filter is a diferent service.

Imagine user buys brand new car and takes to khuzdaar to use as mule, he has to keep going back and forth to dealership city?

Well that's the thing, in Pakistan these companies could write down a blatant lie on a stamp paper if they wanted to, the customer still wouldn't be able to do anything. These corporations are never in trouble.

if you have that piece of paper in your hand, you can make a ton of money with it or have a lot of fun with it.

I have done similar in the past. And due to that one assembler in Pk will not declare such abstract lunacy in any warranty anymore.

1. What is the monthly maintenance cost of Kia Sportage AWD?
2. Is it really underpowered as people say?
3. What would you buy for 6 million? Sportage or Civic RS?

Sincerely do not consider civic as an option as it is overly priced, go ahead with Sportage, Tucson, X70, X7 or if you can stretch the budget a bit then Sonata.

Buy RS if you're in urgent need of car
Tuscon, X70 are not available & similarly to RS are not worth the price if you buy it on own.

Sportage already feels outdated & is due model change in mid 2023. If you book current model now, it'll probably get delivered by June or July. No point in buying a model that is going to get replaced witihin a year.

In my humble opinion either wait a year or get sonata 2.5 if it falls in you budget range.

I was in same situation a month back and decided to go for sportage awd. No regrets.

I have driven it 1200km so far, and its just a little on high side on fuel consumption compared to corolla 2016 1.6 that I was driving before.

Its way heavier that corolla, so does its doors are I really need close with a little force, also the brakes aren't as good as corolla, but I have adjusted to them in a month.

That being said if you buy sportage atm with ON its cheaper than civic.

Alhumdulilah, got my Sportage delivered in March. I booked in October 2021 from Kia Clifton, Karachi and delivery was promised in March 2022.

KIA increased the price once, which I had to pay, then just before delivery, they increased price again! Thankfully, I had paid full in Feb, and I didn't have to pay the extra 2.25Lakh on FWD I booked.

Delivery was smooth. Also got it registered from same showroon and got papers and temp number plate in 1 day.

They shouldn't because they had already increaed them before this so called dollar and freight increase. But again, ethics and good-moral display from these auto manufacturers is non-existent. Expect them to increase as now their sister car Tucson AWD is at 63 Lac and they are 3 Lac behind them.

For me 10k PM I took it to Kia festival city lhr. Previously I had taken it to Kia kings gate. This time I took it there because they had been calling me for over 3weeks to bring it for maintenance.
Anyways I don't think I will go there again as they do not allow customer to stay with car, which I can understand as this place is not as big as kings gate.

They charged me Rs:15352 and just changed oil and filer.
