And awd is better in comfort because of leather seats and lumber support ,

I’m driving the AWD version too almost 1,500kms done on varying terrain covered.

The question still remains... is there a difference in suspension components of AWD vs FWD?

The spec sheet mentions a difference in road clearance 6.8 inches (AWD) vs 6.4 inches (FWD).

So is the AWD just setup differently with a larger coil spring or spacers? Or are the shock absorbers and springs different?

Alhamdulillah
Honda fit served me real good and then i used Civic X for a while. Therse days I’m driving FWD Sportage and waiting for my AWD to arrive. I’m surprised by this average myself. I was driving on Normal mode.

Plus are you using high octane in your FWD Sportage? For that mileage ?Or is it normal petrol..

As per official spec.. its is 172mm.

yes but if you look at it physically, it's much higher than a Corolla..

Well, it looks higher because the size of the vehicle in vertical dimension.. but as of ground clearance it is 172mm. Sportage dimensions wise I think is little smaller than Civic, in length I believe.

Sportage look higher because of more headroom, bigger wheels and wheel arches. But from the ground surface to the closest undercarriage portion of Sportage , it is 172mm.. while 11th generation Corolla is I think 175mm

When inshifted from fit to civic the first difference was acceleration. Fit was very slick and civic x was a bit slow and heavy. But after i week i was very comfortable in civic x.
