yar mess iss tarah se ha k air cooled bike ka frame aesa ha k radiator ni mazay ka fit hota, ho jaye tu radiator fan ni fit ata. most of the radiators are in rectangle shape which look good on bike but don't fit.
so that is why for these engines we decided to order dual radiator setup like in trail and off road bikes, as there are 2 radiators so fitting is easy, one on both side of frame support bar. but looks wise bike looks ugly....to be honest. But dual radiator setup is a blessing as it is over kill for highway ride, my bike's radiator fan is set on auto mode with a proper thermostat and it turns on only if i stand still for like 10 minutes with engine on, on move radiators get enough air to cool the engine properly.
Baqi maintenance ka issue ni ha, new radiators, new engine, proper radiator fan with thermostat and proper coolant. This is a combo which i am using for last 1 year, no heatup issue at all.... just once i lost some coolant when i was adding heat guage sensor to system.
Han agar ap bilal gunj se kse atv ya riksha ka purana radiator lu ge, purana used engine pe lagao ge aur sonay pe suhaga dalo ge b pani tu believe me it has more chances to fail than work.
I have honda cbr250's radiator lying in my house, it looks very cool on my bike, but as it is small radiator and i live in multan so it works only on cruise mode (speed above 50kmph on hot summer day), as soon you i slow down or get in city traffic.... temps starts to shoot up and even the fan can't cop with rising temperature so you have to speed up.....anyways water cooling is the way to go.
