note: hi-octane is not confirmed to be unleaded, so we must stick to unleaded super or supreme petrol. if changing fuel stations does not solve your knocking issue, to reduce engine noise LX will be the only option. do not use any anti-knock additives as they can easily contain lead. Lead permamently damages (=poisons) the catalytic converters in these citi/civic/corolla models. catalytic converters are very expensive.
