knocking for me is slightly different than what is being described above. Knocking in my vitz occurs when there is no load on the engine. The moment i press the accelerator the knocking stops. When i take my foot off the accelerator and the car slows down and there is no load on the engine, the knocking comes back. This happens regardless of what speed I'm driving.
Is this knocking or something else?
Will this type of knocking be fixed by using high octane. If yes how many liters of high octane in the tank and for how long do i have to keep using high octane. I'm selling my vitz in the near future. so i need this issue to be resolved before i sell it.
