Ok Boys, as you may know I had been planning a trip to the North on bikes again with 6 people on 3 bikes. Well due to extra luggage we had to drop one person and now we have 5 ppl on 3 bikes.
We had initially planned on shipping our bikes ( 3 Suzuki GS 150 ) from Khi to Pindi by train and then drive our Car to Islamabad. Leave our Car in Isbd and pick our bikes from the train station in Pindi , load our luggage and head north to Gilgit and to Khunjirab if we can make it.
However, with the changing security conditions in Pindi and Islamabad with all the containers blocking entry and exit to these twin cities, we have now decided on not shipping the bikes since we don't know if we will be able to even enter Islamabad or Pindi.
We were to leave late tonight / early morning by car but now we have decided on driving our bikes directly from Karachi in order to avoid the likelihood of being stuck in Pindi. We will go through Sindh to DI Khan where we plan to rest for two days with a relative and then carry on to Wah through Fateh Jang avoiding Isbd and Pindi and carry on to Abbotabad and then Naran and so on.
We will be leaving Khi tomorrow and return some time mid Sept.
Will begin a thread of our Journey after returning. So keep your fingers crossed and pray that we have a safe, and DRY journey ahead.
