Finally after gathering few more passengers, Ali decided to to move to Thall-Atror road.
This is the start of road to Badgoi pass.
Looking back towards Thall town.
This road is a jeep track (a jeep killer in fact). Initial part of the terrain is as green and as forested as it could be. Along the road there are few small settlements. Road passes through plain forested areas as well as steep stony cliffs where it can accommodate hardly a single vehicle. According to locals, it was even worse couple of years before.
Heading towards Badgoi pass.
First of all let me show you the top of Badgoi Pass. Kumrat is on right side and the road descends from here to Atror towards left in the picture.
We stopped here at the top for few minutes to take some pictures. It was a very windy place with beautiful side valleys all around.
This beautiful forest rest house is situated in a plane area, few kilometers from Thall on the right side of track. Looks a very peaceful place to stay if one gets a chance.
Another superb side valley seen on the right side of track, before the top.
Other passengers in the jeep were very nice fellows. They were all locals. One of them was an elder of Kalam. His name was Fakir. We talked about the area, it's problems, road condition, etc. He took this pic of mine before the top.
We stopped here by a stream to cool down the vehicle. What a cool place?
Kumrat side of Badgoi Pass.
Road to top of Badgoi Pass and terrain of area from Kumrat side.
Here we are at the top of the pass.
The peaks of Atror side from the top.
The Top of Badgoi Pass.
A group photo at the Top with Mr. Fakir (on my right ) and a fellow passenger (on my left).
A photograph at the Top for the memories of Badgoi Pass.
After few minutes of rest and photography at the top we again started our journey. Now the road was rapidly winding down towards Atror.
Thanx to Pak Army who cleared this area from the terrorists and now we are able to enjoy the beauty of this place again with the eyes of such a nature lover like you
