Mingora and Saidu sharif, are large twin cities of Swat. Mingora is well known for its hotels, historic monuments, museum and as a base to visit surrounding areas. It is quite peaceful city, albeit central thickly populated part feels bit congested now.
There are signs of new buildings being constructed, this one was just across the road as seen from my hotel.

There are many nice hotels in Fizagat. It is at the outskirts of city so is relatively peaceful. Most of all I like this park and the river.

Sir jee is it possible to get from Peshawar to Jandrai in 1 day?
I'm originally from Karachi but i'm going to peshawar on 16th September, I want to spend 3-4 days at Kumrat and visit Jaz banda.
Any help will be appreciated

I know its too late to answer but still it will be nice to have a chat with you.

I was on a tour to Swat, came back and got busy as usual, just saw your post today, my apology for being late.

I think it may take 8-9 hours from Peshawar to Dir. If you start at night and reach Dir in the early hours of day, then you can reach Jandrai as it is about 5 hours jeep journey from Dir to Jandrai.

If you have already done it, I will be waiting for the story of your stay at Kumrat..

I tried to call but I couldn't reach Raja Taj Mohammad by phone.
So I decided to play it safe and take the known route and ended up in Neelum valley, Azad kashmir instead

I will try to share my pictures and story of Neelum valley on Pakwheels soon insha ALLAH.

AND next year I have plan for Kumrat valley in July or start or August insha ALLAH.
