for oil, i ld say that most of us use CalteX Havo.
1000ml pack,
n for plugs i wld request Imran n Abd Satar, as Abd Sattar is 125 xpeRt.

Dear Members of LBC,
I finally found the book "Pakistan Trekking Guide" by Isobel and Ben Shaw. There were 3 copies in the book store at Liberty with the price tag of Rs. 595. It is a very well written book although a bit old. Still it is recommended that all trekkers, bikers and 4*4 lovers should study it. Please feel free to get it copied.

Which edition/year of publication is your copy of "Pakistan Trekking Guide"? and to which year it has been updated? also how many pages?

The last one I saw was probably a 1993** edition and a few details are out of date. It is probably the best book available still. Do you think you could have it scanned and uploaded?

** Not sure about the year. (I may be confusing it with "Pakistan A Travel Survival Kit" 1993 edition, which I have.)

You are right, Pakistan Trekking Guide by Isobel and Ben Shaw was first published in 1993 and reprinted in 2004 probably without updates. Now it is a bit outdated.
I have a few other trekking guides as I used to buy any and all books available on this topic but found this one most useful.
If you want I can get it copied and mailed to you.
