its not the matter of gals or boys, the fact is people wont learn lesson.. many kids have been given such rides without been educated about how dangerous speed can be.. shamefully lots of kiddos use to test the speed on their decades old khybers saying that they were 'supercars'.. safety features in every car may only protect you if the speed is within 60km/h.. forget about taking beyond 100km/h and this case as mentioned.... 160km/h??????? 
most of our local cars comes without safety features, no air bags, not crash-tested, no side impact bars, no crumple zones.. etc etc
