The ceiling of the main entrance. Jaw dropping designs. Perfect symmetry and still there after so many years..
Even historians find it hard the idea behind them and the concept. The restoration wing of the government faced challenges in restoring these designs as they were just too difficult to comprehend

Happens. I am sure 70% of the Lahoris haven't seen such places that exist in Lahore, not even the 'darwazay' of the 'purana sheher'. Lahore is filled with rich history. It really needs to be promoted for the likes of us

The view of the main mosque from the entrance.

It is proven that the entrance of all these buildings are complete in one line.
Badshahi Mosque (main) - Badshahi Mosque (entrance) - Baraa Dari's chamber - Lahore Fort (entrance)
All these are in on line. These have been calculated and confirmed my modern architects and there is not even a flaw of a centimeter between their symmetry. once word...Amazing

The sky and clouds were just amazing. A giant cloud on top of the minaret, Gurdwara can be seen in the background.

Shot this from Badshahi Mosque itself. Had to have atleast a 300-400mm to capture this. I had only 105. Tried my best to capture it at 105 and then crop it to give the desired result. Did come out great

Not an HDR shot. I don't do HDR's. One of my favorite captures. The red bricks just make them look like a pencil sketch in this light

Indeed 'this' Lahore is well documented but only a few people have had a privilege to go and see it in person. Many people in Pakistan don't even know much about these places, except Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort.
The entire concept was to make people internationally as well as locally aware of the majestic beauty and richness of history in Lahore.
I just posted very few pictures, they are in hundreds and trust me, and i will be posting more and many would be those that even no one has ever covered before
So stay tuned and enjoy the pictorial visit

Bara Dari and Lahore Fort in the background. I was standing in the exact centre of the Badshahi Mosque then I took this picture. Note how exactly in-line they are. Truly amazing and jaw dropping
