excellent pics. thread subscribed. enjoying the pics a lot. i have been to all these places in Lahore but to see them again in pictures and with all the fine details is an awesome experience. a really nice effort.

One should take out time to show their families and friends and even children our history. And there is a LOT to be learned from it. The beauty must be admired but as the same times mistakes shouldn't be repeated.

I am enthralled and quite honored by such a wonderful response. It was just a one day trip and I managed to capture all these pictures + some more to come. I wish I had more time to capture more pictures and share it for even a greater cause and response and it would have created a fantastic collection.

That will be my next project inshAllah when I go to Lahore. Will try covering the whole of Lahore..which is atleast a weeks work or even more.

Checked out your thread couple of days back but it was all about baadshahi mosque and other famous mughal monuments we have seen and read alot, notwithstanding the title of the thread, but atleast the photography is great.

Today I saw a few more pics and realized that new pics are more in line with the title of the thread and makes me more interested to view this thread on regular basis for the next few weeks, if not months and longer. Keep it up bro as you are now moving in the right direction and show us the real and forgotten parts of Lahore for older pakwheelers, while "unseen" for many young pakwheelers. Gr8 photography.

Would love to see your karachi project on similar lines too. Spent a long time in karachi when it was far better city as compared to the mess it is today.

Yes. That was just the beginning. As i mentioned earlier the collection as a mess and unorganized. Slowly it started to be in order. Sad part is that I could not take much pictures of the 'purana sheher' have these and a few more. Most were those of the famous monuments hence making it a bit seen. Will try making up for it on my next visit, inshAllah

I would like to request other PakWheelers to post their collection too, pictures of parts of Lahore which they think, most people haven't seen.

Yes inshAllah, I look forward to Karachi project if I have some people assisting me too. Karachi is very unsafe with camera gear around
