Okay guys so I went to the AT workshop again. They said they already did a few manual to auto conversion of Lancer and so many others like Premio, Civics, Mercedes, BMWs and so many more. Nothing is impossible or they have been out of business by now. Their sole business is this and if they cant do such swaps they should have been closed by now by damaging so many cars of other people, and some of them were much more expensive than lancer as well.

I also asked the questions about ECU, wiring, CVT Gear Availability, etc, etc which you people mentioned and they knew each and everything related to these already.

They said they will give 15 days checking guarantee and the cost will be 47,000. I'll go to chah sultan and see for how much these things are available in the market to have an idea if their pricing is reasonable or not.

They said a good quality CVT oil only costs around 10,000, so their pricing is reasonable. But still I'll check in the market.

They are just minting money that’s it.
These guys just make the person believe their statements and hence gain profits.
Lancer is not a car to be fiddled with in our country, it best performs when in perfectly original condition without any alteration of any kind.

80-90% of the mechanics in our market are not capable. Ustaads earn the title of ustaad after spending a lifetime destroying people’s car. The only way do it right is to follow the car’s manual, watch YouTube videos, read online articles and keep the factory service manual if available. Once you figure out exactly how to perform a particular job then you can get the work done from any mechanic by specifically telling them what to do and what not to do.

Yaad rakhein gora mechanic ka skill level yahan nahin milega. Umeed na rakhein warna dokha hoga. Mechanics have a way of convincing you to to get all sort of work done. Their approach is to start with the most expensive and complicated stuff whereas the right approach is to start with the simplest stuff.

Purani BMW E30, E34 waghaira and 70s to 90s Mercedes waghaira are easier to swap because they’re more mechanical and less electric. The upscale models like 7-series and S-class are even in the 90s more loaded than Japanese cars today and come with engines you’d not want to swap.......and those 20-30 year old cars will still drive better and be more durable than today’s Japanese cars. Agar shauk hai tou yeh explore karein.

ATE (Automatic Transmission Expert)

&

ATC (Automatic Transmission Center)

Both shops are adjacent to each other on Railway Road Rawalpindi.

They only and only deal in automatic transmissions of cars. I haven't used them till now but seems much better than "Jack of all trades, Master of None" type workshops and ustads
