you idled a fresh built engine for 24 hours??? (Im assuming you like to throw away money in your rubbish bin too) - There is a very very narrow window of time where the rings can seat into the cylinder liners - after that the hone on the cylinder and the rough edge of the rings are polished away, if your engine was not under any sort of load when they became polished away your engine is back to "defected service"
You also claimed that you had the block resleeved - I dont know about your machine shop but its quite hard to find someone who can bake the whole block and push a cold sleeve into place. The usual I saw in Pakistan was they do it while the block at room temperature. Doing it in this way is also a sure fire way to waste money.
There are many shops in Pakistan who claim excellent, tasalle baksh kaam etc etc then proceed to set the cylinder/piston clearance super tight because "presharr" - what they fail to understand is that they are dealing with aluminium pistons not cast iron from the 1920s
