Almost done with the process of reviving the old giant. Lesson learnt the hard way that whatever Osama said one way or the other holds true. Kudos to the guy. Expenses are almost the same (plus minus). What was lacking was his expert opinion and eye.

depends upon what engine needs, a full rebuild would cost way more.
Suspension is usually cheaper (unless its a full a-z parts replacements) and easier.

It should run well as has new parts and anyways if required can go to Osama anytime for refining/setting/correction. He usually gives a very good deal/discount if alot of work is done together as a project at his place.

Suspension is brand new now. The only thing which hasn’t been done is engine which I’m not planning to do until next winters. One more thing I need to get the AC checked and if possible get it blow increased. Any good AC mechanic for that ?

Bhai, all of us here who were asking you to go slow were purely doing it for your sake, reason; cause we
ourselves have faced all of this one way or the other and don't want the new entrants to learn the hard way.
Anyways, BOL and make sure that you try and find out all problems within the next 10 days and take them to the same guy for fixing.

also check the steering damper, surprisingly, this gives out before the shocks and springs. @ Tintin1, have you ever checked your steering damper?

Well looking at the receipts it's more than suspension work, suspension bill was around 42k I think
Brand new radiator, oils etc
