this car shoud have cost around 80 Thousand Rs. Max. but if uve paid more, thats cuz u WANTED this car. As they say in urdu, "Shauk ka koyi mol nahin"!
You can find new suspension for the car easily in Saudi Arabia. The rest of the stuff will drive u nuts. especially the interior. ur best bet is to buy a used caprice in sharjah or saudi. make sure the car is in very gud condition. then ask a mechanic to pull out everything salvagable from the car! thats a cheap way for ur restoration!
further, the 2L isnt the right engine for the caprice, considering its gearbox ratios compared to the rear differential ratio. go for a Toyota 4200cc I-6 (1HD-T), or a Nissan 3300 I-6 (R-33 (??)). Ofcourse u can opt for a V-8. u can easily find one in Sharjah, either in Diesel or in Petrol. They wont cost more than Rs.30,000 for either engine.
