Factually knocking is fuel related, even in civic type R 2.0 t and also in new accord equipped with down sized turbo 2.0 t if you pour in low RON fuel, results knocking. Even new 180 c turbo is having similar problems.
So can not expect any modification from honda. yes ex market peggy back device based tuning is with somewhat positive results.
Pakistan govt should do something with fuel standardisation,
similarly diesel is doing havoc with BMW and Mercedes.
I also booked turbo in March but forced to 1.8 which i sold and opted for vezel RS. but again its direct injection engine so always filling 97 or at least 95RON.
