I got this LED light for my Suzuki Raider from market in Rs 400/-. Shopkeeper told me that this bulb can be installed without doing any alteration in wiring and can be used on AC Volt i.e. direct magnet voltage as the Raider main light is on magnet power. i.e. AC 12V. the size of the bulb holder is of standard Cd70 bulb.
I Installed it on my bike and after switching on the head light after about 1 min the led bulb got very hot including wires and some smell was coming out from it. I immediately turned off the light and removed it. It was too hot. Any how I again installed the original bulb and postponed to installed this led bulb in order to protect the wiring and light housing.
Any other pw member have used this type of led bulb. Now i am doubt full how can this run on AC 12V (while its box showing 12VDC) and may be shopkeeper mis-guided me to sell his product?
