is the route from toli pir to lasdna is reachable via car?

After reading the links thoroughly I have concluded following points....

• Travel for 35 KM on Muzaffarabad-Siri Nagar road and reach Hatian Bala.
• Travel another 3-4 KM until you reach a bridge on River Jehlum (Near Naily Town). Altitude here is approximately 3000ft.
• Cross the bridge and start the ascend towards Reshian. It is a 20-22 KM ascend.
• Notable villages during this route are Lamnian and Bandi Gorsian.
• Reach Reshian village. Altitude here(Village) is roughly 7300 ft.
• Uptil this point the road is metaled. Buses ply on this route three times a day from Muzaffarabad.
• From here onwards it is only 4WD and one need to hire a jeep.
• From Reshian village 400 jeeps ply daily towards Leep valley.
• First place to visit from Reshian is Daokhan. It is just 4km from Reshain. Altitude of Daokhan is roughly 8300 ft.
• At Daokhan Tourist as well as Forest rest houses are available. Also tent service is also provided in case no room is available.
• Other places to visit are Channian, Leepa village etc.
• Channian has rest house as well as a Awami Chinar Hotel.

Following points are still unclear...

• Can a car go to Reshian? I think if buses can go than cars might also reach there?
• If cars can go then can they be parked at Reshian and then travel in the jeeps from there onwards?
• Location of Chamm waterfall?
• Accomodation details.
• Other noteworthy places to visit in Leepa valley?

Rana Sahib Thanks for picture of distance board. But Sajid Ahmed is telling other story (Post # 16). Will u please tell me if a car can reach from Toli peer to Lass Danna and from here to Bagh?
I travelled from Rawalkot to Bagh by a public van (via hari gahl area) and there was a washed away bridge which was main hurdle for small cars. I was not aware of fact that one can reach directly from Tolipeer to Lass Danna and Bagh.. I am waiting for latest info please.. And i shall travel on this route very soon INSHA ALLAH...

In post-16, he is telling that lass danna is 60 km from rawalakot... He is righ. in way you trespass khai galla, toli peer and then lass danna... so it will be 60 km.. why getting confused...

From rawalakot,, you go to khae galla, From Khae Galla there are two routes, you can go to Banjosa and you can go to toli peer...from toli peer lass danna is 10km... and from lass danna all descends 15 km to bagh...

I told that lass danna is 10 km from toli peer,,, not from the rawalakot....

Khae Galla to Toli Peer = 20 Km

Toli peer to Lass Danna = 10 Km

About the Cham waterfalls in Leepa Valley...

2nd day of leepa pack your gear again & move towards the leepa to reeshian main track again..after crossing the main jungle of leepa & climbing the hill a MP check post will come on your way before reeshian..ask the MP guy to guide you for the Cham formation where the entire khacher (horse core) is deployed..once you reach there...in bazar ask for the cham water fall...its a 20 mins low 4x4 drive towards the fall & you can see the most beautiful water fall of Leepa valley & cham water fall

Yes one can go to Leepa with family. Yesterday I met a person who had gone to Leepa (Dao Khan to be exact) with his family in 2006. He stayed there in tents in Dao Khan.

All the knowledge that I am sharing is collected from Internet. Someone who has actually gone there could be more useful with such queries. But my take would be that though public jeeps ply on that area/route but they will not stop for you to enjoy the areas or go to off main route places. So it will be more suitable to hire a jeep for the complete stay in the area....

I have completed Neelum Valley tour in 48 hours.

With amount below Rs. 2000/-.

I have visited sharda, Kel, Taobutt. These public transport stay almost all villages en-route. Night stay at Gilani Hotel Sharda = 350... Muzaffarabad to Kel and back Rs. 700. Kel to Taobutt return Ticket Rs. 400.

Day-1.
7.30 pm. Sat in Rocket Bus from Muzaffarabad to Kel.

Day-2.

5.00am reached Sharda

7.30 am reached Kel

8.00 am sat in public transport jeep from Kel to Taobutt.

11.30 am reached Taobutt (visited neelum river, taobutt village, Gagai nala, met with locals. (sheen people not kashmiri)

01.00 pm Sat in jeep for Kel

05.00 pm Kel

06.00 pm sat in bus from Kel to Sharda.

08.00 reached Sharda... stay at Gilani hotel

10.00 Gone to the valley of sleep.

Day- 3

07.00 am got up

08.00 am got the bus from sharda to Muzaffarabad.

Sight seeing enroute... Keran, Dawarian, Lawat, Titwal, Athmuqam, Kundal Shahi, Noseri pattika and Muzfarrabad earthquake fault zone... Red Fort Muzffarabad

06.00 pm reached muzaffarabad. (Met there the same bus, which carried me to Kel on my first day) They were astonished to see me there.. I completed.

Then I want to Go Balakot for night stay but, cudn't got a van. then i plied for mansehra for night stay.

Day-4

08.00 am set off from mansehra to kaghan valley... but back from Malakandi Landslide area.

In evening reached back to islamabad

Sat for Multan.

Day-5

07.00am Reached Multan

08.00 am Joined office..

Yes I agree that hiring jeeps can be expensive but if you are full capacity i.e 6-8 people then hiring a jeep can cost you almost the same... When we went to Neelum last year(We were 8 people) and we visited Taobut we hired a jeep for I think 4000. Per head cost was Rs. 500 which is almost the same as yours.
