VTEC is just variable valve timing, a feature that Nissan, Ford, and BMW all have in some of their engines. VTEC is just a crutch that Honda uses to make their tiny engines more drivable. Why do Honda engines need this crutch?

Honda engines used in Integras and Civics are very small (less than 2 liters) Small displacement engines need to spin HIGH RPMs in order to make power, and be cammed for optimum air/fuel and exhaust flow at high RPM. This causes the small engine to have almost ZERO low RPM torque. Without variable cam timing which gives a different camshaft lobe profile for high RPM and low RPM, the engine would make the car undrivable

here on pakwheels i have seen many fights infact wars of honda toyota n some time suzuki participate little bit to make it world war
so y not make a sperate thread to do it in little bit good way
so lets start HONDA TOYOTA WAR here (lolz) openly there is no restriction
BUT
it will only for fun
so no personal attacks n no attentions to hurt other
it will surely help out in finding some negatives in different cars so take it positive n make it positive

i totally agree there should be no personal attacks but one should be logical when supporting a his\her favourite brand

1) Bad English. Toyota should provide you with some primary classes of english before making you their official fanboy or something.

2) No, It can Air drop HONDA Special Ops teams who will destroy the whole facility.

3) Honda doesnt need to STEAL anything that too from TOYOTA. They build cars, jets, bikes, engines, boats, robots where as toyota is limited to?

If this's the case then same goes for the VVT-i and VVTL-i, no? And for your kind information, atleast the VTEC engages and you can feel it engaging unlike the VVTL-i. Go to youtube and search for VTEC kick and then you'll understand what i am referring to. VTEC is a state of the art technology invented by Honda which gives you fuel economy at lower rpms and a greater power at higher rpms. In short, VTEC kicks in while as VVTL-i is just for shashkay.
