Liana- a head ache to me

this is the reason why i dont prefer C.N.G... dude change the oil of your car at 3500 max... i dont think it should give you any trouble... as said by newton it depends on how you take care of your car... my liana 1.6 auto is now 130000 and masallah in its original condition and im fully satisfied with its performance.. liana needs to be taken care of properly dude... PEACE!

When did you last get your car serviced ? looks like it needs a Sensor changed, Never get your car's engine washed with full pressure !

thats a really sad story...perhpas u were just unlucky...there mustve been something seriously wrong with it since the begining...because i have a friend who's liana recently clocked a 100k but hasnt given him any problem ever!

meri liana bhi both problem ker rahi thi..like missing n low acceleration........mixture change ker walo....
theres a mixture by the name BURNER wala mixture
woh daal do...cuz liana per jo Air\Fuel Mixture laga huwa hota hai itz damn to small to work properly........n jab tak air n CNG ka proper mixture ban ker engine mai enter nahi hoga tab tak proper spark nahi banega..hence no acceleratio and continous missing......

i recently bought liana ... very nice car ... but only problem ... is when on CNg and on idle ... kabhi kabhi band hu jati hai with some spark sound ... and some time below 1 rpm .. it starts vibration .... , my mechnic told me .. its coil prob ... change it ... i change it and my problem is solved ... bro chk ur coils to ... rest accelration is good on CNg ....

Hi to All..

Its not strange to see lots of people complaing about Liana. But let me tell you frankly..What is see all around is lack of knowledge for the car:sorry to say.

I've Liana for 2+ year.I've done 120,000 kms + And MASALLAH its perfect. Also i do have other cars:civic,city,baleno.

Oil change is around 5000 kms. ZIC A+ . If I go sprintiing more often then i would change oil onder 4000.

Properly tunned stock liana acceleration is 0-10m km/h is 10 sec. Remeber its heavier than city/Baleno/City. By Weight.

I've also have straight run with 2.5 Markx and nissan cefiro 2.4 and I was always bumper to bumper but at the range of 100-160kph. After that civic 1.6vti/cefiro /mark x tales the lead.

I've also had long run with se saloon. Saloon was at 190+ but could get away. My max for 1.3 was 180-185 kph

So its upto you how you keep you cars.

I've had tappets adjusted every 25-30000 kms. And Lots of other thing.

Remember it smore electrical than city/ se saloon/baleno etc..so what do you expect.

Come up with question and i have answer for liana related issue.

Totally agreed with Farrukh! BTW, How has your experience been with ZIC A+? I just had it in first time but am having second thoughts as the suggested engine oil grade is 20w50 and ZIC A+ is 5w20. what is ur take on that?

one more thing get Air flow control wall if u want a hassle free drive on CNG....
It increased Pick n Mileage alot on my liana (Y)(Y)(Y)

Dear Fahad & other members

i have liana 06 Rxi-FF cng and milage is 50k. so far i have never face any problem in my car since three year it is one of very good car. but now i am also facing same kind of problem.

Car is missing very badly and even not working on cng.i am driving on petrol now a days it also missing on petrol but not very badly. i have visited suzuki dealership and here is summary.

1. they replace 8 chimmers and adjust tappet

2. cng tunning

3.checked gas injector by replacing new one but problem persist,said gas injector is ok

4.check coil by replacing new one but problem persist, said coil is ok.

conclusion; they said we have to replace engine valves if someone is not working, sharpen the head, replacing new gaskit and estimate is about 15000 thousand, i am not worried with cost rather with their diagnose and expertise.

kindly help me what should i do

1.should i agree with them and done work as suzuki delearship are saying?

1. should i go to some well reputed machenic and take a 2nd opnion who is expert with liana.

kindly suggesst me solution.

there is something very wrong here.....u got ur oil changed to late and its caused adamage to the engine and u need to get tappets adjusted at every 30k

well listening to all the experties..... i may conclude that the poster shud sale this out and switch over to toyota, honda , nissan or mistubishi if he is interested in sedans......

i hav worked in SUZUKI DEALERSHIP. LIANA is very very technician car with EURO-2 Complaint Engine. Har aik k bas ki baat nahi he liana ka kaam krna.

and secondly its spare parts has a vary high price.

the genuine exhaust system of liana is for rupees 135000.... now u cud imagine that what a liana owner shud do if he has some problem in the exhaust and wants to replace it...?

its totally a head ache so plz sale it out and switch to any other make.
