I would not recommend replacement, as the ff cng kit installed in liana is the state-of-the-art technology and highly fuel efficient. And if u still think u want to replace, then sell the cng kit to me

Secondly, for information of all, there are TWO independent (but inter-linked) ECU units in FF Liana- one for Petrol and the other for CNG/LPG. So please dont fight.

Thirdly, @Mirza, I have been through all these hickups, but every time its the smallest possible reason for the problem. The biggest lapse on your part is that u left the car on tech's disposal.....my advice to all......pl always remain present while ur car is being repaired and if possible also get along with the tech as to what he is doing. Now i think the tech might have disconnected CNG from either of the three possible connections:
1. There is a fuse in-between the wire connecting batt terminal to the solenoid (that Black round unit right on the top of the reducer).
2. On the same wire there is a connector that might have been disconnected.
3. Connector of CNG ECU located at inner-top side of the glove box, might have been disconnected.
4. Open the hood and check for any disconnected wire or connector related to CNG components i.e Solenoid or injectors rail etc.

By first connecting CNG, u might be good to go because most of the time once the ECU is reset (by De-energizing the ECU by any means) the problem is usually solved.
Are u sure they connected a separate ECU to check the problem? and if its so then is ur original ECU still with u?

Also try cleaning up EGR, in some cases, the EGR (Exhaust Gas Regulator) gets partially blocked due to carbon and cause jerks on acceleration and constant speed.

Also sometimes, either one or both Coils gets weak and cause similar jerking problems. If coils are weak the mild problem of pickup is also experienced on petrol......Even the China-made Coils are good to use (Price around 5000/- for the pair)

May that be helpful....as i am a DIYer and Alhumdullilah addressed such problem twice happening on my liana at different point of times.

ECU is intact and connected (shukr hay)

only 2 ports coming out of ECU are disconnected... White one with several holes i recognise as Diagnostic port . Other is smaller port (female) with 4 holes and red in color. Here are the only two disconnected ports in question!! :-

another major port blue in color is connected

2 single wires.. One is going to fuel selector switch and the other joins with main bunch of wires

checked all the possibilities mentioned by u for cng disconnection but found nothing

being sti?? unble to bring the lights back to fuel selector switch
i humbly request ur guidance for
any other possibility??

what all have u checked under the hood? It appears that everything is good at inner side of the car.

I have checked following under the hood:-
a. Connection from positive terminal of battery to CNG fuse (one with the cover)
b. Connection to the solenoid -- The tech has bypassed the clip configuration and shortwired it( I think he was doubtful about clip)
c. Connection to the CNG qty indicator ( i mean that governs the no of dots blinking on fuel selector)
d. Connection to the cng injector rails

But I still couldn't make out how to enable my fuel selector back

both the shown connectors are for diagnostics.....leave them as they are.

have u removed the fuse? and checked its serviceability?

also snap out the 'selector unit' and see if its connector is also connected

I snapped out the selector unit -- Its connector grip was intact --- also traced the wire going from ECU till selector unit to check its serviceability -- It was also OK

Checked the fuse --- It appears serviceable (didn't have check lamp to ascertain)

One question ---
How the 2 ECUs are interlinked? I could only see one single wire linked to bunch of wires coming out of Petrol ECU!

Was browsing the net --- One of the foreign threads suggested that actually it is the pressure sensor that goes bad and car shifts back to gasoline ---
Going to 3s tomorrow and would ask them to bring the lights back on my selector switch back " Bhai waisee to kar do jaisee dee thee"

ok here is another tip from my side

open the hood remove the black rubber on the reducer unit, take a flat screw driver and turn it anti clockwise, a few turns, and then switch on the ignition and start the car, most probably it will work if all wires are intact....

remember me in prayers if it works......

most probably they have minimsed the gas flow from the regulator i found it out during my diys

Which Big black rubber are you referring to, I have literary gone inside out of this kit but seems like I have missed this rubber part. Can you please be kind enough to refer it to us through these pictures as it can be a missing clue?
Pictures were taken in past once I have serviced the kit by myself.

Hello I had recently done wheel balance and wheel alignment i got know to checj when brake press sometimes in reverse gear sound GHHHRRR comes aur if car is in neutral then going up and leave brake when it goes back sound comes brake discs have been checked brake oil wht is the problem will any body help?

Hi i have recently removed cat converter from engine exhaust which improved pick up , but still on second gear pick is not satisfactory. throttle body was also cleaned along with plugs. can someone suggest some good tips to check/tune etc to increase pick of car.
