This is a general analysis of mine....
It is a common practice amongst buyers that they do not do the extensive checking before buying a used vehicle, when i had to buy my car i did extensive search and bought the best available car condition wise, it was pretty expensive though, but generally people buy the cheapest one available and spend a heck of money afterwards to get it in good shape. I wont say i didn't had to spend a penny on my car, even when my car was in excellent condition, i spent almost 50k over it to get it into the condition i like to keep my cars in.

So dont worry Dr. Sb once it got into good shape you will love to own it....
Its a really sweet ride with a whole lot of features other cars lack in this & even higher price points...

now its better comparatively check engine doesnt get turned on frequently but it does turn on n turns off after a while but dad was getting bit depressed...... as he was saying that wat people said about liana was right.......... as many people told him not to buy it and wen bought some said u gonna regret it after 6 months:D....... but every car got some problems.... may it b toyota or honda or even a mercedes:D........isnt it???????????? n once corrected ll last longer........ wat other liana owners say about this???????

I havent seen the car, cant say. BUT if your car runs well on petrol, then its only the 20K worth CNG kit that is making the problems Why bullying the whole car for that.
And I am sure, if you visit a "proper" CNG mechanic, give him the correct problem statements, give him time analyze the overall CNG functionality in the machine, then it should not be a problem anymore.
Most probably, when the Advancer is not working properly while the car is running over CNG, the check engine light does get appear. Have you checked that, replacing with any other Advancer for trouble-shooting purposes...?

They are all those who neglect the regular service of the car,liana is mostly dealt paranormally by the ustaads and i am assure these ignoramuses must have messed some thing before you bought this car.

hmmm......... yes skill bro......... i dont think it has been much misused or frequently taken to a mechanic...... all suggesting me "advancer"..... so i shud go for it........ will corolla advancer work in it????????

yes its an after market cng kit........... dont think so any proper liana mechanic exists here in abbottabad..... n the 3s........ they told me once that a FF cng baleno cant b computer tuned........ got a good cng mechanic who tunes good etc........ n yes "the advancer"....... skill suggested me the same............ will c if corolla's advancer fits into liana......... n i ve posted the engine pics in the previous threads.... i think its in good shape......

so 2day it behaved almost perfect.......... after changing the coils and retuning cng.... consumption has also decreased......... RPM also behaved stable... only about 0.5rpm fluctuation but in the up direction......which means it wont get switched off while driving and it didnt.....RPM remains at 800-900...which wen left idle comes down to 700 after a while which i guess in normal...........
n the check engine light....... i ll check the advancer...... but it lits only while going uphill and rpm above 2.5 or 3....... on plain it doesnt get switched on................

Visit suzuki azim in islamabad,their staff is trained,i have couple of interactions with them and they too have scanners other wise nazir autos near ptcl head office, they preffer working on racing stuff but are well equiped.

Dear its normal on CNG , when u raise the rpm to 2.5 or above engine check light will on and when down it will go off , only on CNG not on petrol(on neutural position) ,, when you are running the vehicle check light will not get on either you drive on 3k rpm or more, at least i have the same experience.

the drive is perfect but just the light appears.........n during driving it appears as well...... but gear shifted or rpm down then would switch off......... here suggesting me the advancer,so gonna check that as well.......

The above statement also can hold true for Engine Oil level and its efficiency. Check the oil levels, it should be between the two marks in the dip stick over a slightly warm engine. What oil are you using currently?
Advancer of corolla can fit into it. Infact the Advancers does not depend upon the car engine, it is the CNG kit and ECU that holds responsibility for communicating with the advancer. Try trouble-shooting with Tomasato (I hope I spelled that correct) CNG kits Advancer/Emulator, as they have a single device for both purposes.

ya oil level is exactly between the 2 marks on an overnight cold engine...... oil is ZIC changed the day b4 i bought it......... which means hardly 2 weeks........ n the advancer changing ll need a mechanic for sure.......... wats tomasato????????

Because of higher RON than petrol cng needs extra bit of time to completely burn in combustion chamber and needs extra quick spark,to meet this standard for cng vehicles,Advancers are used to get optimum performance from engine,which works with the help of cam sensor to advance the spark timing on cng and automatically retard on petrol.
Tomosetto levato is a brand which makes these advancers,latest of their advance with emulator is known as CIP5 before it was CIP4 which i have used in another ride already,works good.Will cost you about 1800 rupees.
