Gentlemen!

I am about to purchase a Liana in Karachi, 2007 September Manufacture, White Color, 65,000KM driven, CNG, Single owner.

My other option is to go for a Japanese 660CC in the same budget (Alto or Esse).

Have been thinking about the pro's & con's since 1 week & somehow i want to purchase the liana, being a sedan & also safer for highway runs when compared to a JDM 660.

I look forward to any suggestions or comparisons from current Liana owners, any sort of feedback is welcome which will help me in my purchase decision. I am not really concerned with re-sell as i plan to keep the car for atleast next 3 years.

Hoping to hear from current Liana owners or pro's who can help me reach a conclusion, need to purchase by Sunday!

Well in my opinion go for LIANA. JDM 660cc are good cars but are not a comparision to LIANA. You cant compare the drive pleasure, relaxation and feel of a saloon sedan with the hatchbacks, and small cars.

If you are hesitating for any reason to go for LIANA, then do let us know, we here the actual owners can guide you better. If in Karachi you want to test drive a LIANA first hand and see its experience, then you are welcomed to drive my car. In office hours you are welcomed at DHA, and after that at my home in Gulshan.

If you are inclined towards driving a small car then the JDM Mira will be a good option in comparision to Alto.

Anyways, best of luck for your purchase.

BREAKING NEWS (though a little late )

Got lucky after months and was able to get CNG from Behra (Motorway)...the last time my Liana was driven on CNG was October last year. Driving on CNG after such a long time, I felt no difference and the car behaved just as it used to do months ago.

Dr sb it is hard to find 1.6 non vvt engine in pakistan you will probebly get M15 ie 1.5 vvt easily and its ecu and wiring
if you plan to use vvt engine with your stock ecu means a non vvt ecu u will not get the optimum fuel avg secondly there will be a sparkknock after 2500 RPM
if you really have time and money only then go for this swap otherwise ye kam bohat okha ha i have been to this all

very well explained shamron .......... nice....... so ecu + wiring + engine........ just for 200cc from 1300 to 1500 :s......dont think so its a good idea...... if its atleast 1600cc or ideally 1800cc then m ready to go for it.......

Can any one tell me how is Liana at drive, fuel consumption and maintenance? I intend buying one. I have been using a Honda Civic 2005, VTI Prosmetec for few year and now want to switch over to Liana. Regards Irfan

Sir if that is the case than question is why it becomes smooth/perfect after CNG injector cleaning?

Replace the CNG filter seems like it is clogged due to which this problem is arising i guess.....
also get the cylinders serviced....

Again, after servicing injectors it becomes light and normal with no issues. Last time pak suzuki wala said your injector D is having problem he serviced and problem goes away, after 2 weeks same problem arise and than i changed the D injector from rail, however problem still exist..

please help in this regard...

because the oil in the injectors is cleaned so it works fine but when oil from cylinder and kit reaches again it starts coughing and do not forget to get the cng filter replaced too after cylinder service.....

m 18 will cost u around this in lhr too with wiring, ecu, emobilizer key n engine i bought them from lhr itna lag gia tha

its for 100k in peshwar and 110k in Lhr!

That had been done last year, how about if any injector wiring is lose? or something like that related to wiring or current?
though injection coils are fine
