Maintenance cost is very high as i have to take it to 3s dealer for every problem and parts are expensive too. Car is 100% reliable if you buy well maintained car other wise it will be a head ache.

Its your choice to take it to 3S, I have never been to any 3S dealer for my LIANA. Going to 3S dealers make the maintenance expensive, not LIANA
Neither the parts are expensive, they are head to head in the cost with Honda and Toyota parts, only slightly lesser. In markets like Plaza every single part of LIANA is available and that also in quite lesser cost than any 3S dealer will quote you.

My coolant bottle is completely empty have to put new coolant suggest me the best for liana, last time I have changed it from 3s dealer.

You can use any of ZIC, Caltex, Liqui Moly, Mobil, Fuchs.
Use DK of Korea, or ABRO of US, if you are really looking for saving costs.
Using any Coolant, without the recommended mixture concentration will serve no use no matter which brand you use. LIANA will consume 4L of coolent, so buy packs accordingly. And yes please don't forget to flush the existing cooling system with clean water a couple of times prior to fillig in new coolant.

Which air filter you guys are using? I am using oem suzuki filter but this time use local one is it good?

3S sells filters at some idiotic prices. From the market you can easily get good imported filter in less than the half price, look for brands like VIC, NITTO. Find some reliable auto shop who can give you quality products in better rate.
I am currently using a Korean made filter, sorry forgot the exact brand. All good branded filters will serve you good for 8K kms as like the 3S ones.
And yes please stay away from the Guard filters.

I was talking about the mentality of the people if they buy suzuki product there parts will be cheaper then Toyota and honda. I also thought the same but after buying it its even expensive then HONDA and TOYOTA I usually buy stuff from Haji motors or Altaf auto enterprises just before the HBL bank.

Guards products are only for my Margalla, This time i use some other brand air filter forget its name just worried about the ignition coils as i think low quality will effect its life.
Are you using OEM plugs for your car ??

Thanks for your detailed reply, just one more question can i replaced the coolant on my own i mean how to remove all the water and then refilled it. One more thing Coolant bottle capacity is not 4l i think so have to add some in radiator too ??

The last coolant only serve me 1 year done from 3s

Since you have been using tap water in your car, it is better to get the cooling system cleaned before you addcoolant. Use a radiator cleaner first. I have used Liquimoly's radiator cleaner, works well. Pour it in the radiator and drive the car for about half an hour or so. Also make sure that the heater is turned to on, so that the cleaner can circulate through the heater core. After the cleaner has run through the system, turn off the car and let it cool down.

1. Remove radiator top and bottom hoses.
2. Also remove thermostat
3. Let the water drain out
4. Flush with clean water by putting a water hose in the upper radiator pipe. Continue flushing till the water coming out of the bottom hose is clean. Also flush the radiator with clean water.
5. Blow air into the top radiator hose to get rid of water that might still be inside the cooling system. A blower motor will help.
6. Reconnect all radiator hoses
7. Reinstall thermostat.
8. Make sure all connections are tight also ensure radiator drain valve is closed
9. Start pouring new coolant into the radiator. Keep pouring slowly till the radiator is full.
10. Start the car, with the radiator cap open, so that air can bleed out of cooling system. (VERY IMPORTANT)
11. When air bubbles have stopped appearing from the radiator, close the radiator cap.
12. Fill the radiator reservoir with coolant. Wait for the car to warm up and check to make sure radiator's automatic fan is operating. Also check for coolant leaks (VERY IMPORTANT)
13. Turn off heater valve and you're done!
14. Next day re-check coolant level in reservoir bottle and add some if it has reduced.

Mostly I buy stuffs from Plaza Motors, but their Defence outlet as that is on my way from office. I dont like to go to Plaza myself. For specific stuffs, they also drop those to my workshop (charging only the rickshaw rent that also sometimes). Two more guys Arsalan Autos and Umair (AR Autos) I know over there from whom I counter check the price/offer before buying anything.
Toyota parts has many copies in the market, but LIANA does not. But I think if you compare the top notch parts only, LIANA accessories and parts are still somewhat lesser in cost than a Honda or a Toyota (at least I think so).

Guard air filter is not bad, you can use that. But their oil filters are seriously not recommended even for your Margalla.

Worn out or choked Air filters will give you lesser milage, fluctuating RPMs, and sometimes extra carbonization thus resulting in dirty/choked throttle body and cumbustion chamber.

No I am not using OEM Plugs, currently I am using Platnum tipped NGK plugs for my LIANA. And they are performing real good.

Replacing coolant can be dangerous, as that might be hot. The procedure is all mentioned in your next post, that is the thing you need to ask to the person doing the job for you.
4L approx is the overall cooling system capacity, the bottle needs around 1L above that.

Every Coolant must have written base/specs on their bottles with the recommended mixture quantity unless it is pre-mixed for a ready to use solution (still they will have a water to coolant ratio written somewhere). If you don't find such info over a coolant you are selecting, do NOT buy that then!

As for small works I take my car to Honda pit stop 2s dealer he he told me that city parts is cheaper.

Just to keep this thread alive wanted to let you know that I was looking for another Liana for sometime...unfortunately was not able to find any good car or the car(s) that I liked were over priced (according to me ) or even there was a case that deal was finalized and later the owner backed out and sold the car to someone else saying "that they were not leaving my house without the car"... how lame
Anyways...as I was not lucky enough to find another 'perfect' Liana...somehow came a car/brand that I never thought that I would ever buy...yes have bought a Toyota... a Altis...despite that a few PW friends advise me not to buy Altis...because of 1.8 fuel consumption...but I wanted to give it a try so went ahead and bought it...I hope it turns out to be a good experience...just like that of a Liana.

1.8 is a beast....... i got one altis as well........ and it roxxxxxxxx........... fuel consumption not much different......... but i love the 1.8 pick... no 1.3 or 1.5 can touch it or even get close to it......... u wont ever regret ur decision........

Hello guys! I'm getting a strange issue with my 2007 liana since last couple of days. On cold engine starts, I have to press the accelerator to start the engine. Otherwise it doesn't start. But after warming up there's no issue.

What could be the problem.
