I have also experienced better performance after changing my dead battery, Is it dry battery ?

Acid one as dry battery of Volta 50L for Rs 5500

Changed my Spark plug today, according to mechanic it can done 5-6k more but as they have already done 10k according to me so i said just changed it i don't want to risk my 16k ignition coil for 600rs

Replaced them with NGK.

Now have to changed gear oil too, any recommendation ?

Ok guys i want to know how much is the cost to get the shims work of liana done.As my car has completed 1,50000km.And till this mileage never opened the engine of my car for any mechanical work done.Now its the time to get it opened because car lost its pick on petrol too today and mileage is also not good so i think its the right time.

From where i have it done in Rawalpindi.
Good Workshop and mechanic address required.

Santro has no issues at all. Loved keeping it for over a year. Low on maintenance n much better than an alto.

You are right, but I never liked it's exterior and interior. Drive is very good as I have driven my friends city.

i have a liana 2008 auto 1.6 i bought it new all is well going on but now am having a little unusual sound from the belts in the engine .. when ever i cold start the car a sound of chee chee comes from the hood felt like belts sound ...also when i switch on ac this sound get worsen and remain for couple of minutes and go away ... plz liana experts advice me what to do .. can i change the belts or there is any other solution and also is it some serious issue or not .

Same happened with me last week I have changed engine and generator belt problem solved, they were cheap too. And yes it's a serious issue as it can be broken any time and you left with no option other then towing which will damage your transmission too if proper method was not used.

what the mileage on the odo....

a simple solution is to lubricate the belts that should eliminate the sound and if the mileage is high you should consider replacing the belts...

Well in that case u must consider replacing.
Idealy they should last a 100k but in our conditions u have already maxed out.

To the Liana lovers: shivering in my boots because EVERYONE is telling me not to get it. Drove the car myself, liked the drive. Checked the coils, da da da, etc. etc. works well on CNG blah blah. Fingers crossed.

Well, I've seen it from every angle. Plus I know the guy. I'll post pics as soon as I get the car. The guys says there were problems when he got it, but he slowly got all of them fixed. He's rich, plus his wife drives the car, so I know that he must take care of it. Anyway, he says he's already got suspension and coil work done. Since I'm not planning on running it on CNG anyway, so I guess on petrol it should work fine.

Anyone ever heard of lots of people getting issues of Liana on solely petrol?

well i have purchased used 06 liana lxi but its total genuine 80k driven,i m facing few problem,the car ac fan does not off,as i switch on the ignation it starts throwing air,when i move its variable to off it only throw less air but doesnot get off.suzuki guys says u need to change whole penel which cost me around 12k and i was shocked that its just a tiny problem and u r asking 12k,please help me from where i can get it repaired.the other problem is that there is some sort of axel ply,have u ever experienced it yet?

Happens with my Khyber too. Its something to do with wire soldering getting loose in the AC circuit board. Khyber electrician took Rs. 200 (a few weeks ago). For Liana maybe Rs. 500.

^ sounds like AC-clutch problem. it needs to be replaced, as the bearings/garari is faulty.

its a normal wear n tear..
