To check the deterent level offered by my Liana to thieves I made a duplicate copy of the key and tried in the lock cylinders around the car, the copy key turned in all locks and performed all the functions, but when I churned the ignition with the copy key the car refused to start and "Check Engine Light" started blinking, the starter motor kept on spining the crank but to no avail and ignition stay dead in the case. There may be a bypass system in the ECU but till that is revoked I stay satisfied, below is the duplicate key.
Later I touched the exposed part of duplicate key with the actual key, carnked and it started the ignition did not died once the contact with real key was removed 
but when I tried again it after turning of with duplicate key car never started
