Just a hello to everyone!!! (No movement on this thread for since July 27....that is not good at all )

Ahhh good to know that....

But here is my story....after so many months my Liana got the chance to run on CNG... and for the very first time in almost 3 years I am not happy with the performance of the car on CNG. It gives jerks, and die down on turnings...and you have to wait (lift the foot from the accelerator a little) and after few moments the MA13 wakes up

So experts what do you suggest...is this something to do with the CNG kit (FF) or CNG filter or the injectors .... on petrol the car is as good as ever. By the way it is a 2006 RXi, with FF CNG and is driven around 87k. And I never faced any such issues during the last 3 years, it was driven 56k when bought from the first owner.

radiator bhi new hai, water kafi zaida kam ho rha hai agar 30 km drive ker loo too almost 1.5 liter water kam ho rha hai, mechanic kehta hai sab ok hai, kindly advice.

Open the radiator cap...do you see traces of oil there...in the water or on the cap? if yes, that means the head gasket needs replacement

I think this issue was discussed earlier the fuse for the CNG gets rusted and creates this problem. This fuse exists some where outside the main fuse box (not sure)
Upon cleaning the issue gets resolved. This is what I read some where on pw not tried my self as my car was sold before seeing this problem.

Oh acha... you mean the only fuse that is outside and hanging in between the kit and the battery...will check that...thanks for pointing out that. Hope all is well at your end.

Yes it may be the same, give it a try and cleanse the rust with wd40 scrub the contacts and let us know the outcome.

Sir jee aap great hain...did not use the wd40 just cleaned the fuse with sandpaper...and she is back to normal. Thank you very much.

It is great to hear that. Please share the pics of the DYI to let the other owners solve their issue as well. You can make a thread to brig this case I lime light.

Can any one tell me how does the lock/ unlock function of laiana works, like does the gates locked it self after few min aur if you apply brakes first time.

The factory feature do no sport auto locking of Liana doors upon vss signal or shifting to D.

We have to manually lock it using the button on driver's door.

It only works if you unlock the car (pressing unlock button) but don't open the door....after 30 seconds or so, it will automatically lock itself. But once the door is opened, it won't lock automatically.

If you want them in perfect shape then only choice is genuine which is about 1800/= one side.All other 300/400 wali are waste of money and de shape the arch .

Just to ad a post on this thread.
Got new tires for my Liana...this time unwillingly went for GT Radial Champrio (185/60/14R)...Was reluctant to take these because of '60', the car is lowered a bit, but as mostly this is used only in Islamabad (or sometimes drive to Lahore) so hopefully it wont be a bit problem... so far surprisingly they seems to be good tires...very good road grip, better braking and car seems to be in control even at high speed cornering...rest will keep you all posted.

How is your experience with these tyres as yet?

These were more expensive than the Bridgestone and Yokohama...got these for 7,000 a tyre...

i got quotation today 22000 for four, there is still some room for negotiation.
