@memad. a/c puts considerable load on engine and it feels like im running car on CNG (althought it doesn't has any). is its condenser weak or its same in every liana? the cooling is good.
Guys.... i own a liana 2006 n i'm on the verge of NOT being a liana fan anymore. I'm the second owner of this car but it has been giving me problems since the first day i bought it. N finally today it has a blown gasket. Can anyone plz guide me on how much is it gonna cost n frm where should i get the work done in rawalpindi? i dont wanna go to the suzuki 3s dealers on GT road cuz they'll for sure blow up my brains by the money they'll ask. wot shud i do? expert advice needed urgently. thanx..!

Dude I'm also a liana owner I bought my car in oct 2007 brand new now its milage is 87k allhamdolillah. Going very fine n smooth believe me Uptill now I have never ever gone to any workshop not even for a oil change. Only thing I'm doing to my car is spark plug change after every 15k done by myself at my home oil change done by my self after every 5k and all other I chage air n oil filter. When my car was brand new I realize the gears are not good very hard to shift . Then earlier as possible I changed gear oil of best qualitu I.e toyota genuine gear oil bought from toyota companyNext thing was coolant in radiator was very bad its colour changed to rust colour . Atonce I put toyota genuine long life coolant taken from company n believe me up till now I did not put sny watwe

Just goto a person of your satisfaction and reliance he will be able to do the job
Otherwise goto Suzuki I-10, I think the mechanics are quite user friendly and good there....
In my car I feel reverse as of your case on CNG the pick is not good but on petrol there is no feel of the compressor kicking in or any reduction of power If your car's model is pre 2007 then you may need new software of the Ecu. Contact your dealership in this regard.

Was there any specific problem with old software? i am also compromising on petrol consumption. it never goes above 9-10km/l in city. More info would be highly appreciated.
The new software surely fixed the issue of bad pickup and no response in second gear. But that was mainly for CNG. But I suggest you to give it a try.

The new software can be upgraded by any good 3S dealership in your area. They may charge you some cost.
Skill, I recently bought my car, it is LHR registered, the previous token has been paid in Islamabad, the print is not much clear, but it seems to be saying something 5000->6000
drive , practicality , comfort , legroom is better in liana then in any other local assembled car , but only let down is shape.
Exactly sir! im facing both these problems since beginning. sometimes i feel it underpowered even on petrol. Do you think its is worth the risk? what is estimated cost?
I am sure it worths and it is not the risk just a newer version of software bundled with better perfirmance. When I bought my car the software was newly released and dealership was upgrading all their stock themselves. I have read good user comments for this in other threads. Now sure about price you can call them to get a quote.
