On seeing the website of ZIC pakistan, the suggested engine oil for Liana over 80k km driven is as follows. does anyone have any idea of it? is this oil fine, with longer drain interval (i.e. over 5k km)? i am asking w.r.t karachi conditions...

Using this oil from Day one and in between tried suzuki's genuine oil but reverted back to zic A which is THE BEST .

Its the best i'm also using this and my liana is 86500 km driven but change it at 4000 instead of 5k because the traffic circumstances in PK when you get stuck in it an hour or more passed away with engine start

And u live in khi? Does mausam have any effect in choosing correct viscosity? Also, where do u get zic original, waisay they are offering free home delivery

Zic A is semi synthetic oil and is 10/40, ideal for pakistani environment .Maximum interval should be 3500 kms,i change it after 3k.

Look carefully,dont opt fot repairing left side axils ever specially inner gear side one though out left axil is also important,what actually they do(the machinists) they try to weld the the holes of the mesh in which the steel balls roll,because balls are of very hard metal they tend to get the mesh damage with the time and the holes in which they roll get loose,welded mesh will survive for few days and then again knocking.
The Left one is drive axil of any car,all the load is on left axil when pushing the car.so bro dont get into repair stuff.

bro, old post though, but the welded pic is of outer end, where tyre is connected? by dafault, the two 'cups' are not welded but the mechanics weld it? and, this is the joint where wheels turn from?

10-40 is a standard viscosity for almost all the cars i've read the user manual of liana it recommends 10-40 also Honda genuine oil is also matches with this viscosity actually it denotes the minimum and maximum operating temperatures,in Karachi temp doesn't fall so low so its the best for kh you cant get an original one from any trusted oil dealer

I have a question What is the difference between these 2 engines? are they different some how? or just cover is different. I have seen the 2nd one mostly. But few days ago i went to inspect a for sale car and saw the engine shown in the first pic. I couldn't take its pic though this pic is just for reference. and that engine had small coils fitted on each wire the owner told me that that its for CNG as CNG is factory fitted. Please guide thanks.
