Got the Chimtaas work done ...costs 2000 per chimta...=400 two chimtas Chinese
zed link rod =750 rs
and its all set to go...all fine
only problem i am facing now is some lil noise like tuk tuk...wen i press the brake pedal..any guesses? bad disc pads?
also, car's temperature takes ages to go rise in this winter season ...:s
its taking way toooo long

helo guys.my name is awais and i m big fan of liana lxi but never bought this car.i m owner of honda city from last 9 years.but now i want to buy a liana lxi because my friend want to sell his car.his car colour is azure gray.98000 milage.lahore registered.total genion no touch ups.very neat condition inside.susp feels some work needed but over all good.tyres are in good condition.ff cng.alloy rim ff.jvc genion cd player.so please give me any idea about the price of this vehicle.my friend is asking 750.i m waiting ur answer.

5K??? That is a good price! From where did you get those? Neela Gumbad or Faisal Town? Or some other market?

Edit: I just saw on the other thread that you mentioned 14 inch rims. Those are less expensive than 15 inchers but still a good price. Which shop and area?

I have been using Shell HX-7 in my Liana since 2008 and my Cultus before that in 2001. I have also used this oil in my 2007 Mehran and have had a good experience. Just make sure to buy either from a company run pump or Metro.

I used yellow on i think its hx5 cost around 2100 i think and changed it at 5k with oil and air filter

Havoline is really good, but changing oil from shell is very convenient, that's why i choose shell over Havoline.

off the current topic: Wanted to share that my father's Liana hit 200000km a couple of days back. New shocks were installed at the front and a thorough tune up done at Suzuki central. It is still running great and engine is in very good condition. Part of the reason is it has run mostly on petrol. I have 2 issues that I have seen in another Lianas as well. Can someone confirm if these are common.

1- When car starts, the internal power mechanism for the air vents/ducts in the dashboard makes weird noises.
2- The CD player display shows 'load error' that sometimes goes away. I have only seen with older Lianas.

I have also faced the second issue you mentioned got the problem solved in 500 rs changed the cd player and by giving the old one I only had to pay 500 rs the first one you mention I never had the issue in my entire life

Since second question is already answered. I can help u with the first one.
Since its winter season and the setting of the blower knob will be towards windshield. Every time u switch on ignition the blower motor is set towards windshield.
Its controlled manual in most of the cars but its totally electronic in Liana. That rotation produces the noise.
You have to live with it.
You can cross check it but setting the blower position to normal and then switch on ignition. U won't hear a sound.

In winters, do suspension system make weird noises in all cars? Someone said that the rubber bushings etc get hard and makes ajeeb noises..my car does it but goes ok once it runs for a while

I also have this load error issue, when it's become too much annoying, i punch the cd player hard and it's worked fine for little period of time [emoji14]

Petrol consumption is too high I noticed.. Although I drive it on cng all the time. For that, do we need to unblock the air intake, tune engine on petrol?
