I won't recommend such things to you becoz I know from you got the idea the guy simply said that this thing will only work on a car that supports OBDII but liana doesn't support OBDII
bro just don't do it will be ruin the engine + your car will start sounding like a ricksha a simple idea I have heard to clean cat converter is drive the car on high rpm/speed on cng as cng is green fuel it won't chock it and the high pressure of gases going out of cat will throw out the previous carbon
Suzuki 3s told me during there car carnival that cat filter need replacement.
I agree with you 80 percent coz I use this method ...... i tell u how I fuel cut my liana in 1st and 2nd gear for at least 5 seconds. .....i can see brownish power coming out of silencer.

bro forget what 3s ppl suzuki 3s mechanic are really dumb I would you should get it scanned from somewhere else and the code for cat failure is P0420

yupp it was solved one of the ignition coil connector was not fitted properly but now its running fine.
