hey Liana Owners, I have found a guy who makes immobilizer keys.. he is saying he will make a key for LIANA also and will charge Rs. 2500/- only ? has anyone tried it yet ?

Can I find such a person in RWP/ISB???????????????

Hmm means only a value addition of ABS. The rest of the differences are not that "thing"

And Eminent has all these LXi things plus Auto tranny and 1.6L engine, right?

Will you guys prefer Auto Tranny of LIANA? Is that will be a good choice or should I stick to the LXi version? Please advise.

Not only a value addition of ABS rather it also will be called LXI, either you buy a xli corrolla and watever u spent to make it to GLI but at the time of sale it will not called GLI, so brand model does have its own worth. however no doubt eminent (automatic) has its own charm and attraction and bigger engine with bigger power. as new model is not coming of LXI and eminent , if you find a good deal with a little difference then go for eminent.

It is possible, that's why Company can do it but @4500Rs and FIR + 15 Report.
They are just Ripping by giving you one key @4500Rs, and if you want the key with the Remote it costs Rs8500.

But i have asked several suzuki dealers they are asking me 6500/= for plain Liana key and 11000/- for remote key? ERRR

Here in pindi/isb I have asked abt and they told me that it'll come from khi and will cost 4500Rs, in khi the price must have been the same if not lower ...

Kindly suggest how does Hi Octane helps the car engine. As once I had Honda city and car was knocking a bit so the Honda guy told me that put some Hi Octane in the car. I don't understand if Hi Octane really helps it will only help until the Hi Octane is in the tank and when it ends the car will do the same as it was doing before... ? does Hi Octane.. cleans the engine or what ? Is it recommended to put Hi Octane in LIANA? How to put Hi Octane should there be only Hi Octane in the fuel tank or should it be a mix of normal fuel and Hi Octane??

Engine oil specification

There is no concept of hi octain cleans the engine or what so ever,this is just the change of RONs which are different in normal unleaded and hi octain,you will have to use half hi octain and half super unleaded untill your car leave the knocking,this is not for one time only,Its is also better if you use hi octain in car because our so called unleaded fuel is not pure aswell.If your car does not knock you may avoide putting hi octain as per your likeness.

what ever the RON is it will be only changed untill iam using Hi Octane when i stop using the Hi Octain the RON thing will come back to its original point? am i right. I mean how can putting the Hi Octance change the car even after the Hi Octance form car is finished?

I bought 2008 Liana RXi a month back. Alhamdolillah everything is going good.
Do I need to change the engine oil?

I have already visited Suzuki 3S workshop with other problems but they topup all other oils but said nothing about engine oil.

Just change the OIL now and than change after every 3000Kms, I use the ZIC (Yellow one)

Got it 770K Blue early 2008 manual odometer reading 22K FF CNG 152KM per Rs. 500/- (a bit costly buy but its clean without any paint jobs etc. but with one non-remote key and BTW no coolant in the car just plain water.

Alhamdolillah, everybody (mean 5 knowledgeable ones) took the test drive and saying that it is indeed a clean one.

Gone to Naseer Autos SITE (on a lucky no-labor charging day). Waited for 6 hours patiently but their check-up was thorough and the total bill was Rs. 1200/- for axcel seal fix, greal oil topup and the wash. I liked those guys that morning but the bill made me love them in that afternoon :-). They gave a list of issues though:

1. Engine Oil pan has been hit needs replace (but not urgently)
2. Middle exhaust assembly (dolikey) is also bumped. (any worries?)
3. They want to do some work on Axel inner and outer as well (faint noises only I think it OK for a four year old car)
4. Two power window buttons are working intermittently (might be due to carbonization etc.)

After reading the service manual and all 40 pages of this thread make me feel confident about my car.

BTW, I have three further questions:

1. Some times I felt gear movement while holding it if I pull my leg off the pedal. Is this the ply or engine foundation or something needs replacement?

2. Front tyres seem OK but others are not that good. Do I need to replace them? Can I do from 14 inch to 15 in a limited budget?

3. Does this wearing means that the 22K milage reading is fake?

The problems you are mentioning are not supposed to happen at only 22k driven car, most probably its driven much more and that too roughly...
anyways get the axles work done or that will end up in more costly solution, and get the power windows serviced , should solve the problem...
oil pan issue try finding one from old parts market. Silencer issue is not much of a problem if the car does not produce any strange sounds.
