Thanks @Skills for the information, the prices and the pictures of the CV joints.
Surprisingly, my Liana's left side CV joint is making a ticking noise at just 75K Kms, which is extremely low keeping in mind the way I drive. Chinese CV joints on my charade lasted for 150K Kms until I sold her and they were still good to go.
Even more surprising was the price estimate I got from a Suzuki dealership... 35K for one side!!!!!:o I am seriously thinking I would have been better off keeping a Mercedes or a BMW if I have to pay this kind of prices for parts.
What more, the 2 fan belts cost 8K at the dealer!
and then we wonder why Liana is not a "market car"? Don't get me wrong, I love my Liana and would still prefer it over other options, but these recent experiences left a bad taste in my mouth.
PakSuzuki certainly is not interested in selling their cars, at least Liana.
