Dear All!
I am gonna buy 2007 liana.
Any advice things necessary to check and verify?
How do I make sure the condition of vehicle?
Any senior here to advise about this specific vehicle keeping in View that I am gonna buy for the very first time in my life for me.
Need serious advice.

Make sure gasket is not blown or week, no bubbles in radiator, wiring is not poked, engine no sound for CAM,

People were like don't buy this car it has sick handling and stability. Seriously they were haters. I've literally nailed all these corollas, civics and these dohc engine cars.
City if compared with liana is piece of ****. Sick handling, light chasis, abs engages too early I've saved accidents many times by pulling of the ebrake to stop the car. Even in hilly areas city is not that stable. But liana is way too stable.

Agreed man, i have drove liana at 180 kmph it just kisses the road.

People say m13 has poor fuel economy and the car doesn't accelerates that much on m13a. I've heard that engine has tik tik sound of coils.

And is a non vvti engine.

that was most sickest thing i ever heard, tick tick sound is fuel injector and you probably listen to gas fuel injector sound, its Gas injector work like petrol Injectors they have specific ijector for each cylinder .. fuel economy is best best best in 1300 cc cars in PK , 12 14 km with ac on petrol city 16 18 km on highway , cng 130 city with ac highway 190.. and you talk about engine performance its MPFI only engin in Pakistan in 1300 cc category it can smoke a City Civic Corolla.

Need kind advice regarding Head Lights of Liana, the problem is little poor visibility due to not so bright and powerful light beam of Liana Head Light. My electrician Suggested to change the Head light lamps and to add Relay to supply power directly from Battery. Please advise this change is feasible or not?

I have 2013 liana with 38000 km on odo. Should I change its coolant. I was thinking about toyota super long life coolant. Right now its factory filled coolant. I dont know if its a good quality although its still new.

@adnan1 yes you change the coolant. And get a liquoy moly coolant.
It's for 1000 rupees but a very effective coolant. Germany brand. You can search about it.

I am having issues in my liana vurv 2009 rxi throughout petrol driven. Sound of tak tak is coming somewhere near of front tyres when my car passes through uneven roads, cateyes, khaddas etc. I got it checked from naseer autos karachi and i was suggested to rwplace whole suspension system all shockers, suspension assembly, strut etc. etc. and i was handed over an estimate of Rs. 172000. I believe that it can not be the whole suspension system but few of the parts which might be causing problem and naseer autos was unable to identidy where thw problem actually persist and suggested me to replace whole suspension system. I need expert advice. Please guide

No its jumper rod bushes. It's not whole suspension. Few days back my car was sounding like that too.
I got it checked and culprits were jumper rod bushes.

And these famous shops for such projects get. More profit in doing whole suspension so they are like pura karwa lein yeh karlein woh karlein.
Chup karkay jumper rod khulwayen, uskay bush check karwayen, replace the bushes.

Swing arms khulwa kar dekhen are the bush of swing arms aka chimtay in good position. If not woh bhi change kardein. But the sound of chimtay is heard usually when the car fells in to puddles it sounds like duk duk.
But when car hits hard on reflectors and outside protruded rough patches and tak tak sound is of jumper rod bushes.

Do not spend that much.
Let me tell u the price of each part.

Swing arms kabli with 10/10 condition are for 7000
Shocks kabli x1 =5000 with Springs and bottles.

Jumper rod bushes 1500rs

New shocks are for 3500 rs without spring only bottle. Springs are always Okay.

Then comes axles if there is no tak tak sound while turning the car then no need for axle kit replacement.

Rack ends can be checked and if they need replacement u can get them new for 2500rs.

So installing quality parts on your suspension complete won't be more than 50k.
I don't know are they slaughtering people?
And in such type of issues, firstly jumper rod and swing arms are to be checked.
Chorun wali baat karhay hain naseer autos walay.

Thanks dani for your advice. One of the members on pakwheels named bilal has also suggested me to get my car's ball joints checked. Car is behaving perfect on turnings and no sound is coming so i also believe it can be either bushes, ball joints etc but not the whole suspension. Bilal has suggested me to visit sardar autos somewhere near allahwali chowrangi and ill be taking my car there inshallah. Naseer autos is a crap and thugs are owning it.

A great shop for suspension work in Karachi is Abdul hameed and sons at rubber market, recommended by Xulfiqar bhai himself. The owner's name is Afzal. There's a detailed thread about it on this forum but let me if you can't find it and I'll give you the number

Get your links checked. I was going for ball joints when my mechanic diagnosed these. Same tak tak noise when car hit potholes. Get them checked

bhai mjse ho sakey to mil lein aik barr becoz mje b kch mechanics ne kaha tha ke ji suspension ka kaam honey wala hai meri car liana 2009 mei b isi tarah ka masla tha aur awaz sirf jumps aur up down road pe ati thi.

Mje 25000 ka bola tha ke suspension new ho jayei ga but i refused and did a DIY on my own and the culprit was a Blown sway bar link and i bought that link for Rs 600 and installed myself its been now 6 months and no more noises.

So better meet me before opting for roadside theekra mechanics theory.

Exactly that what I was talking about. Sway br link. 3s gave me estimate of 40000rs. I got one side link fixed by khradia for 300 but its better to buy new one. So get those links and ur bushing checked.
