Dear @Maliko1 the liana engine engineering is totally out of our local ustaads. They cant understand what suzuki packed in it. A friend of mine got his liana serviced by someone mechanic in uae and his liana 1.3AT giving perfectly 14km/l with ac in city
Another reason why baleno and liana are loosing market is that the toyota Pakistan spread out different myths to make these cars fail as baleno and liana were beating sales of corolla in thier early years. This was later told by retired toyota imc director sales.
If these cars were fail then why usa, japan, uk, russian, brazil, malysia ,and many other markets accepted them? . ..Its Pakistan doing soRecently Audi was goin for setting an assembly line near Karachi but Imc gifted 10 land cruisers v8 to 4 ministers and they rejected audi's setup saying "audi can't fulfill the safety requirements set by Pakistani government" What an idiotic statement.The car getting 5 star in euro ncap crash test got failed in Pakistan. And corollas having no even airbags (or if have then they don't open on the time of accident) are allowed to assemble easily.

I also own a baleno and love it. No doubt Liana's is much more luxurious than corollas. Its interior looks like we are sitting in a Mercedes Benz
