In fact i buy a Liana 06 few days back and facing following problem

While running on cng car turned off on speed brackers and pressing clutch (low RPM + RPM drop).
The engine is producing sound seems like timming belt / bearing is not in a good shape its already 85K driven.
Its front suspension is producing sounds like (dup dup ) on speed breakers.
on long routes like Islamabad Highway its giving me 160KM per cylinder is it ok?
The radiator water is drained out after 150 KM drive.
The A/C + Heater air throw is too slow they are not performing well.

I had a very bad experience with Suzuki Kazim Motors Murree Road Rawalpindi. They don't have any proper mechanic and equipment to fix these issues.

Can you please guide me where should i go to fix these issues and it will be gr8 if you can recomend me any proper mechanic in rawalpindi / islamabad.

I am replying your queries with best of my knowledge about Liana.

While running on cng car turned off on speed brackers and pressing clutch (low RPM + RPM drop).
Liana engine power/acceleration on CNG works on its own according to it's software. There is a delay in acceleration and pressing a paddle. I hope you have the right pressure plate & clutch plate plus bearing. If car is turning off then you should show it to a Suzuki Authorised Dealer.
The engine is producing sound seems like timming belt / bearing is not in a good shape its already 85K driven.
My Liana has done 61,000 KM; it also gives a very very low noise of kokokokoko. I think it is a bearing of something rotating; need some oiling. I asked the mechanic he said it not something serious.
Its front suspension is producing sounds like (dup dup ) on speed breakers.
Check the air pressure in tires it might be too much; if tires are old then these might be due to the hardening of the tires. If it does not go away check the suspension. I am assuming that axles are ok.
on long routes like Islamabad Highway its giving me 160KM per cylinder is it ok?
I have no experience in this category; but I can say that it gives a better milage than our Suzuki Cultus.

Sorry no idea about it. You should keep a 2 Liter Coke bottled files with water all the time in the trunk. It is always better to use a coolent; it gives much better result.
The A/C + Heater air throw is too slow they are not performing well.
If you compare it to other cars it is true that it throws slow air BUT its airconditioning is very effective indeed; at leat better than our cultus.

The only drawback of Lian is its wiring; the moisture is the killer for that car; this is what the specialist told me. So do not ever ask anyone to wash the engine; air is the only solution.

Sorry Adee77; I live in Karachi.

I got some information regarding Liana so I thought it will be useful for the current

and prospective Liana owners.

Most important aspects to keep in mind about CNG Liana.

Wiring: Never ever wash its engine.
Tappet: Always adjust them from an authorised dealer every 10,000 KM.
Never ever overheat the engine otherwise a permanent damage to the CNG system might occur. This will cost you hell of a money; i.e. if ignition coils damage then these will be replaced for Rs. 19,000. If Relay (CNG to Petrol or vice vera) is damage it will cost you Rs. 29,000.
Change it's spark plugs every 10,000 KM.
Change it's oil every 5,000 KM.

Also got my indicators directed to give it a kind of a JDM look

And got The sun visors .........but was unable to find those japanese ones.........

I am facing very low millege its gives me just 50-60 kms per cylinder and 7-8 kg gas filled every time in 410-450 Rs.
Kindly do suggest me wat can i do for better millege?

@mazher, yes I still own one, it will be three years in Nov 2010, I do not use CNG, not even in the Mehran I kept for my kids.

I would not recommend using CNG with auto tranny but people are running it successfully so it boils down to level of installation, driving style and maybe some luck.

Overall I still like the car, had a chance to drive a zero meter GLI that Ufone was giving out in "Kismet ki dastak" or whatever the scheme is called. The cabin noise is much lower in GLI but it lacks simple things like keyless entry and immobilizer which even Baleno had so even today I would go for a Liana rather than a GLI, have not had experience with Altis or Civic yet, maybe they have something better but then the price gets too high.

please do general service of your ac and gas level its throw is excellent and i am sure it will be ok.

km average is ok

suspension is not expensive if you dont opt for orginal, prefer some Korean stuff.

@mazher I get roughly 11 km/L in Islamabad driving, moving back to Karachi, will reach 19th driving on it then can tell you average in Karachi I think it will drop below 10.

@mazhar i have liana 1.6 . and am using CNG on it . i bought it zero meter back in 2008 and still running it and loving it . it's now 43000 k on meter.

@saraab my cousin who live in okara have a Sports version of liana and after driving my car he asked me to exchange or sale that to him .. if you want he have very clean only 28000 driven sports liana without cng . give me your contect number and pics of ride .. that i make sure to my cousin .
