recently changed clutch plates of my car. brand new Aisin clutch & pressure plate got for 8200 and a new thrust bearing. DK brand was not available in whole market and one shop had it in their go-down for 8800. flywheel was resurfaced.

Cost breakup of clutch change of liana is:

8200 Japani Aisin Clutch and pressure plate set

1350 for thrust bearing

250 for flywheel resurfacing

2500 labor

12300 total amount

We use ntn clutch release bearing for =1650
And clutch plate or pressure dk is not good nowadays, it has loose springs so avoid that.

i used Nachi's (japan) thrust bearing. so whats your say for Aisin clutch?

Yar as far as pressure balancing and flywheel facing is done well, any Chinese Cp will work for long time too.

Just got a 2008 Liana LXI a week ago, while parking it at home today, I noticed check engine and ABS lights turned on all of a sudden. Can anyone guide me a little about what could be the reason?

Alternator is not charging properly or its wire is damaged and due to low voltage abs and check engine lights up.
You can test this by starting the car & once it's start, pull negative terminal off, and you'll see car will instantly turn off. If car doesn't turns off, turn lights on it will again turn off, if it doesn't it means alternator is good.

It's problem related to battery.

yes..it had special sticker, changed alloy rims, and an additional sport type 'patti' over the diggi. search on internet for Paki Sports version of Liana

Wiring of Suzuki liana gets bad many a times due to high heat exposure, so it's suggested to re loom it after 4-5 years.
