Asmk guyz,

I went to mechanic to tighten AC belt of my liana 2006 m13a. When they pushed the engine up with jack I spotted that disconnected sensor (red circle in pic att.). Can anyone plz tell me which sensor is that, what is it used for and what implications will it make to car performance if it stays disconnected?

It's a vvti solenoid, they didn't disconnected this sensor. This is a imported engine assembly used with a vvti but the ecu your car has is non vvti & it's a costly procedure to get the vvti running so no one does that and leaves it disconnected... So cheers

Liana is a distributor less ignition setup - coils are directly on plugs. Works through a crank sensor setup. Totally unlike cultus efi which is a distributor setup without crank sensor.
