After the service of engine bay 2 months ago, my Liana started producing backfires. but then after the tuning, everything went OK. But then again, it started backfiring since last month & it increased with every passing day with horrible mileage on CNG/Petrol, till I had to park it in the garage last week :(. Both the pairs of coils were gone, I got them checked from multiple places.
Today I went to a newly opened workshop near my home. They had distributed pamphlets for advertisement so I thought I should give them a try as it was their first week & would definitely put their full efforts to gain trust of customers. So in short went there & got the following work done & have just came home half an hour ago. I had made-up my mind to get the coils replaced with chinese ones but the workshop owner recommended me to get the previous ones repaired & told me the after repairing coils would last 1.5-2 years easily. So I asked him to go ahead as per his mind.
1-Repairing of all four coils
4-Throttle Body service
5-Sensor cleaning (Throttle sensor, Acceleration sensor, Cam sensor, Air Intake sensor)
6- One Plug replacement as it was blown & even cracked due to backfiring
7-Some minor fixing & tightening of nuts
The car is running fine without any backfire or anything but feels a little underpowered & lagging probably because of CNG settings disturbed but he promised me to re-adjust that tomorrow, so I will update you people accordingly.
How much you people think this all should have costed? Just any rough idea?
