Liana, success or failure?

well I am using it for more then 2 years now and dont have any quality issues but yes you dont see much liana's on roads thats cause of the pretty ugly shape and expansive parts. I have driven mine 62k kms and only 1 bearing has started makins noise AC pully wala bearing.

other wise its a nice car and excellet drive atleast better in comfort then rolla or city, and its very commodious

After reading all these comments about problems in Liana, I guess its pretty safe to say that there are definitely Quality Problems. Although, considering its a (Pak) Suzuki, its not that hard to comprehend. Since I have not had a chance to drive (in) one or had a chance to speak to an owner, I really cant tell if all these facts above are real, but as far as market perception goes, Quality Control is definitely a factor that can impact a vehicle's popularity. Even after paying all the heavy premiums and ridiculous interest rates, if people STILL dont get their money's worth, its no wonder that people are pi$$ed off.

I mean COME ON! PKR 600,000/- and more for a Mehran VXR?!?! BULL SH*T!!!

welll....for a price of a sedan its good value for money...comon guys..dont go for the looks...u cant get any more decent looks in this much money....but it certainly would've done better if Pak Suzuki had a bit more strict QC department....but cant blame them either...its there heritage...lolz....
I've even heard that the engine has a heating issue... although m not confirm...

main thing iz liana, corolla xli n city, all 'almst' worth da same cost! so wen u upto buy a car u alwayz go 4a reliable brand i.e toyota n honda! suzuki in our country dnt refer az a luxury (itz a mind set in hre) liana'z shape, performance, itz worst quality n 'brand' r itz basic factorz ov failure! so wen a guy hav ta spent hiz million rupeez on a car purchaze, y he'l buy a car wid stupid quality n suzuki brand! he'l abs go for toyota n honda brandz!

Can any one explain me why all the cars introduced in last couple of years
e.g lancer, Nissan Sunny, Optra, Aveo, Proton etc
failed to make their market in Pakistan?

Well i don't think so, i personally think that we are not accepting new cars and sticked to Civics, City's and Corollas which are in our market for a very long time. The ONLY factor which we consider at the time of purchasing a car is its RESALE and nothing else.

its helll better then city

i am using one for more than a year, no problems so far! Excellent music system i can even hook up my Ipod. Does 125+ kms on CNG with AC in city. Super cooling and has great pick and drive is comfortable. Bottom line great car! And does 0-60 in under 12 secs on Petrol!
