thats coz city=fuel efficient

Liana=power

and about the fuel capacity you dont need those extra 5 litres to go the same distance in city

the problem is not with liana,its with pak suzuki. A golden rule for buying zero meter pak suzuki:
"WHEN EVER U BUY A NEW SUZUKI. ALWAYS BE PREAPARED TO GO TO THE WORKSHOP ON GETTING UP NEXT DAY."

Very old topic in discussions...

Actually, someone is right..if it was a Honda Liana or Toyota Liana, things would have been very different.

If you agree with this, then removing the Honda or Toyota from the equation should not make any difference as far as the car is concerned. Only thing that would differ is the perception and brand name...which is, no doubt, a very big factor.

To quote someone else...when buying a car in Pakistan, people depend more on their ears than eyes and brains.

Never owned a Suzuki in my life before, always considered it lower than other brands....but was able to see through all this when making my purchase. Don't regret it now after one year...very much satisfied.

Furthermore...Baleno was never compared with City/Corolla at that time...both were considered totally different classes. But now everyone is comparing Liana with City..which shows that Suzuki has raised the quality and worth of its 1300cc car...or Honda/Toyota has reduced their's.

gud car but dun compare it with city,as u know brand ke bhi paise hotey hain....just like nokia and lg mobile phones in which nokia is expensive whereas lg comes with more features but less in price . . . same is the case here

bhai sahib we all know pak suzuki is notorious for making the crappiest possible cars in pakistan regarding quality and liana is no expection. and it is useless to start the honda liana and suzuki city issue coz that is not the case is it?

@toyota: Amazed that you should say that....Liana (Aero) was available in the UK as well as US, it was even included in many episodes of Top Gear (Celebrity in an economy car).

NOt successful yet due to false perceptions and propaganda...somewhat similar to what happened when Cultus and Baleno were launched...both were failures, but today both have excellent sale/resale.

Will take some more time, I guess...
