I totally agree with you. I drove Liana and its drive was really good. It was Comfortable and its interior is very good(that is why New Corolla copied it). I liked it very much. One of my uncle bought that and he is also very satisfied with the performance of the car. He has driven around 50,000 kms and no problems till to date.
People in Pakistan are very sick, they just want to stick to XLi which is so Pathetic. They think that other cars are very bad without even keeping them or driving them. So it is Pakistani Mentality to say everything bad which they never drove or kept.

Well after a long shut up i thought to say somehting....
First of all i would like to be part of liana meet any time....
Secondly though i am not getting the same nasha w.r.t mileage as our dear old and gold member Mr Hasnain2005 is getting but let me clarifiy few things here as per my experience...
As you all know that in liana the shifting of fuel in between petrol and gas takes after certain time depending upon engine temperature, engine rpm etc... In normal drive it is observerd that especially in the morning after about 1.5 - 2 km the car converts itself to CNG. There is way to shift the car early to CNG but i am not discussing that at this time...
In the evening its normally 1/2 to 1 km drive for car to convert on CNG.. so there fore on average your car runs on petrol daily atleast 2 to 3 kms...
Considering daily mileage of approximatley 30-40 km and having 223 km on your meter ( pointing MR HASNAINS car ). So you can safely say that it has run on petrol around 15-20 km.... Now considering the mileage my good friend is getting i think instead 223 km actualy it would be in actual on CNG around 200-205 km... which is still awesome...
No doubt MR Hasnain is getting some outstanding results... but i will share my experience also i am getting around 185 km having my car filled from the same station from which MR Hasnain filled his car....
At the end of the day i have this conclusion that ON average Liana does around 16-18 km per KG without AC.... i don't know about others...

I Drive my Dad's Liana whenever i visit pakistan. It consistently gives more than 200+ km per full cng tank. last time i drove was in may the mileage was around 170 - 180km per tank but that was because it was on AC full time.

I bought my LIANA last year in october ......till now i have driven 35k n im 200% satisfied wid its performance ...fuel economy anf acceleration..+ top speed ... i have touched 190km/h on striaght strip ..n beated se saloon.....

BUT

LIANAS a/c is much much better then CITY .....THIS is ma personal observation.....

i bought liana 2007 model a week ago but it giving me just 60 km per cylinder which is very pathetic and it runs 34000 km kindly guide me wat to do wat RPM should be set at this car and wat should be the ideal millege?

By the way no doubt a very very good car in this budget specially far better than XLI crap model

well i have a Liana and a corolla. both are 2007, liana is the 1.6 auto one and corolla is xli. i think xli is much better, it gives a smoother and more stable ride. driving the liana feel like sitting in a daba and the seats r un comfi as compaired to the rolla. the cd player is not bad, but to me the slivery colour of the pree seems pandoo. the rolla is bigger in side has a bigger trunk and the bage fabric in side is better than the gray liana. another thing i have seen is that the seats in liana get dirty very quickly. so the only good thing in the liana r the brakes thats all rest is all crap..

I would say get it tuned properly. especially check the ait filter make sure its clean/new. there was some software issue in some early lianas so may be ur own just needs a software update to the ecu.
btw. how much did u buy it for?
