As far as road grip is concerned ever drove a city idsi, xli, gli altis (old ones) baleno ? if not then take a ride in them first. Liana has an excellent drive specially on long routes its huge as compared to any car of its category talking about cabin space, seating position is excellent I hate seating position of Hondas, kamar dard nikal aata hay after driving a honda 
and for pick up it has a very nice pick up on first gear 2nd is a lil sluggish both on cng and petrol but it gets back in 3rd and 4th. My conclusion for this car is, its the best car for its price.
