Being From Karachi...We Always Have One Or Two Heavy Rains In Year Where we Have To Pass The Car Under 2-3 Ft Water....In That

Case......Everything Need To Be Taken Care And Degreased After Sometimes......!!

My NISSAN Clutch Was Literately Acting Like 30'-40s World War Truck Clutch.....!!! After I Spray Some WD-40 Across That Moving Area Of Lever ......It Came Back To Life And Gave Much Relief To My Legs...!!

Usually Nothing Is Recommended To LUBE The Clutch Cable But Once You Run DIRTY And Play Dirty games Like we Do Ever Monsoon Here In Karachi....You Need To Do Some Cleaning...Else Your Clutch Cable will Be Broken Very Soon....! (I Broke 2 Already)

Yeap i use its 10w30 mos2 lietchauf oil. Very satisfied, i did quite alot of research before pouring it into my car. Now all my friends are using it and are pretty satisfied. Makes a greater difference on older engines.

Bro I think he's talking about the grease which is used in gear lever or gear mountain.
may be he took me wrong or maybe i delivered him wrong..

as far as clutch cable is concerened it's changed with best cable availabe. I'm not in the favour of changing it but my old mechanic insisited to get it changed .
clutch pedal is a little bit soft now, Any suggestion to make it more soft rather than changing clutuch set?..

My car also passed through 1 to 2 foot water and twice or thrice 1 foot deep muddy water.
But i just get it serviced with water.no oil or diesel spraying ..
IS it enough or should i do something else?

I felt a significant reduction in drag and felt some quietness. Overall the engine feels much smoother than before. Not too sure about the mileage. I am gonna change it at 6k

If Pressure Plate FINs Get HARD....You Will Feel That Hardness....Its Better To Replace It Rather Than Breaking Its Fins Later....!

Cable Change Is Best.....But When Needed.....!

I was Talking About Lever Where Clutch Cable Connects To Gearbox....!! Not Shift Lever.....! That Do Nothing In Smooth Shifting As Far As Its Some Very OLD Car

ha ha ha.yeah.that might be the prob .bcoz normally i drive wearing sleepers..

Clutch is not that hard ,on a sclae of 1 to 10 . it's hardness is 3.5...

BTW yesterday i sprayed WD 40 on the handle of main gate just for testing purposes..
it's very smooth now but it start accumulating dirt which is bad for any moving part.

So i think wd 40 isn't that much suitable for our dusty environment.

It Actually Clears And Work As Degrease....It Won't Attract Dirt As Much As Other Lubes DOES....Oil Grease Etc

A Minimum Quantity Is Needed Just To Wet The surface...!! Its The Best Lube For Moving Parts And Springs Till Yet.....

Bro as far as i know newer models of alto's has this problem,mostly occured at the morning .ie when the engine is cold.
get ur car checked by the mechanic else try anti friction.

The antifriction you used will ensure longevity of your transmission, thats an indirect advantage.

I have an Alto VXR 2007 and had the same problem of hard to select/ engage the 1 & 2 gear. I referred it to 3S (mini motors) and they changed the nylon bushing in the gear rod & shifter. Its smooth as silk.

I think the poster is satisfied now, but still I should add:
This MoS2 additive has some solid particles that takes time to form a protective coating against the internal parts, around 100-200 kms of use.
This reduces the internal friction (by a measure incase of Alto) and makes the shifting smoother.
It greatly helps in improving the overall life of the Gear system.
It helps smoother transmission in colder starts as well.

But don't expect any magic! If your Gear system has some major fault, it wont repair that obviously.
This product is highly recommended for new Gear systems as it will highly increase its overall life.
