Has anyone else tried LPG with CNG kit. What mileage they are getting ?

Yes you can. It's been discussed vastly in the previous pages.

All you gotta do is to get the cng cylinder cleaned out and and fill it with lpg.
Might need to add hot water pipes and get cng kit cleaned out.

After reading the complete thread yesterday, I have decided to go for LPG. So today I have got filled 6KG in my Margalla 1300cc from G9. Car converted to CNG without any issue and pick was quiet better and was almost equivalent to Petrol. The mileage which I am getting currently on CNG is 25Km/Kg (200KMs in 8Kg, without any doubt) on Islamabad - Rawalpindi track and on petrol 12-13 Km/L. Could anyone please give me a rough idea that how much should I expect from LPG.

I have driven the car for about 25 KMs on LPG today at speed of 60-80 and there was no issue of idling or missing or freezing.

in hot seasons.... u will not get into any trouble... but in winters u might need warm water piping wich will coat u around 1500 maximum.... enjoy

I think that u need to reconsider as hot water pipes wont cost you 1500 as u need just pipes Max 6 ft @ 50Rs/ft=300 Rs clamps worth Rs 100 and 2 T joints Rs 200 so in total its 600 to 700 Max.

only if u do it by ur self.... if u get a mechanic to do this he will charge u max 1500 for this setup

i done it in 680.... 200 for two t pipes, 200 for water nozzles, 180 for pipe... 100 for 8 clumps ...

coz if they go to bhawalpur road ... avg rate is 1500... but if they get it done on thr own they might done it at 700 ...

Can Lpg be fited to a diesel engine ?

My friend who is a driver is using LPG in his 98 toyota hiace with 3Y engine. He uses CNG cylinder for LPG and travels 200 km daily which consumes around 22-23 kg LPG with about around 20 passengers in the vehicle.....

U might have to adjust CNG through that adjustment nut in order to get better mileage
